    This will probably be the case.
    But I still want it to look aosp otherwise i'll have to switch to custom roms even though I currently like OOS so much.

    Yea.. I had the same doubt..
    My guess is that its the newest version of OOS which will be implemented in later updates of 6, 5 and 5T.

    Whole new UI... Let's just hope for a design that's more like MD2, plus a design guidelines update for the stock apps... I don't want to flash Google Framework just to be able to experience good apps for calls, contacts, messages and so on.

    When you say these things out loud you still keep believing in them? :confused: You honestly believe they would think people would buy their new devices if they got the previous ones worse with time?

    Usually when people aren't happy with things they just decide with their wallet and move on. And one can imagine that OnePlus doesn't really want that to happen, that's why they try to support the company products as much as possible. ;)

    Man talk about a statement for fanboys

    They know that OnePlus is the kind of company that embraces what's great about Pure Android and simply adds to it, rather than ruining the base Android experience;

    I thought bug riddled OS's spoilt the user experience.

    One of the things they've added is an AI-based algorithm that will allow the phone to learn when you sleep, so it can minimize background usage and reduce power consumption accordingly.

    OP have AI. :eek: Let's see how quickly the people who called it a gimmick change their tune.:rolleyes:

    I read this is probably because of the carrier integration that OnePlus is going to have with T-Mobile in the US and that it should probably be limited to those consumers only. It'll be disappointing if that's not the case...

    Not really. I just bout a new OnePlus 6 recently and I'm totally fine with the news. I think every OnePlus 6 owner should also be.

    For the thing about this new UI, I am sure we'll definitely get it across most of the OnePlus devices as it has happened in the past. I'm more excited for the camera improvements they talked about.
