Introducing Doorstep Service in India

    Hello All,

    A few months ago, we launched a OnePlus Doorstep service pilot program in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. A lot has happened since then - This pilot program has given us in-depth knowledge and understanding of how to bring a seamless and convenient repair experience to our users. Yes! I'm talking about on-site repair service at your home or office so that you can get on with your day without having to worry about shipping your device for repair, driving to the repair center and waiting for your turn to get the issue resolved.

    Today, we are thrilled to announce that the new OnePlus Doorstep repair service is out of pilot stage and we are bringing it to more OnePlus users in six cities across India:
    • Delhi
    • Mumbai
    • Bangalore
    • Chennai
    • Hyderabad
    • Pune
    The OnePlus Doorstep repair service is now available for all OnePlus users in the aforementioned cities.

    In the OnePlus Care App, simply select your device model under "Book a Repair", search location, select "Get an engineer to visit your location", and submit. A repair engineer then connects with you to schedule the visit and collects more details about the issue before the on-site diagnosis and repair.

    Kindly note that the service is available within the city limits based on postal codes. If you don't see this Doorstep service option you can drop by one of our walk-in service centers near you - Service centers

    New Exclusive repair centers
    More good news! In addition to the Doorstep service, in January, two new ESCs (Exclusive repair centers) opened their doors in Kolkata and Indore. Our team is also working on 3 new ESCs in Aurangabad, Baroda, and Lucknow, which are expected to open within the first half of this year. I'll keep you all posted ;)

    Looking ahead
    As we are growing our offline repair service in many other parts of India and official countries, we will be expanding the service channels to bring you better customer experience in the coming years.

    Another great after sales service idea @Tom B.

    I think this will greatly enhance after sales experience of the users.

    My suggestion is to include postal codes which do not have easy access to service centre, as part of pilot project. That according to me will be the litmus test.

    Metropolitan cities are usually easy to test. Never Settle.

    Great initiative...but do let us know o when do u plan to add Kolkata in the list....or in other words why have'nt you added Kolkata in the list of metropolitan cities. Are you trying to say that Kolkata has the least number of sales or issues in regard to your devices?

    Yes....but do their engineers visit door-to-door or they just send a pick-up boy to have the device collected and then take 3 to 4 days to diagnose the device....and then over the phone we need to explain to the engineer the fault and then the engineer cannot find any fault with the device...and then the device is returned back to you and again you have to visit the service centre to prove the issue your facing.

    please read the thread bro engineer will visit your place and repair it there , if he is not able to do the. he will take the device.

    Thanks...only hope I don't get the opportunity use this service again.....had a very bitter experience previously with my oneplus 7 Pro and with that so called service centre which they have rebranded it to exclusive repair centre. anyways love what they are doing as always.

    Two things:
    a) Is it available for all OnePlus Products including the OP TV? If not, is there a vision to launch the similar type of service to all products as well?
    b) Will the plan be limited to Metropolitan cities where access to Service Centers is always easy. If not, what are the timelines for II and III tier cities.
    Nonetheless, any care after sale is a big thing. And I'm glad that our brand is taking that care to ensure OnePlus users are always happy.
