Hi everyone,
For techies, there's nothing sweeter than the taste of a new addition or optimization. It's exciting to check out a long change log list to see what updates are coming your way in the next OxygenOS OTA. We know software updates mean a lot to our fans! But the fact is, the longer change log, the more days you had to wait. So, to speed up OxygenOS updates and gather user feedback more quickly, we're pleased to officially introduce Individual Application Update.
What is Individual Application Update?
Now OnePlus 5/3/3T users can upgrade the following OnePlus applications to the latest versions on Google Play without having to upgrade the whole system.
- OnePlus Launcher
- OnePlus Community
- OnePlus Weather
- OnePlus Gallery
It's a small step forward towards the maturation of OxygenOS as a ROM, but we're excited for the increased capabilities this will give our users.
When will be the next individual application update?
The OnePlus Launcher v2.1.5 will be released this week. Please download or update it
here. Here's the change log:
- Optimized home screen folder icon, with a preview of the first four icons in the folder.
- Redesigned style to mark folders that have already been opened.
- Double finger touch support, allowing you to hold an item while sliding on the home screen.
- General bug fixes.
