i mean really, when i first heard that there's gonna be a T version, i was like "hellll noo". but now after looking at the specs I'M like "k mine is still worthy" if you're a wise person, you'd would probably skip this and buy the 8series.

Well they are in the business to make money , meanwhile OnePlus has not used the slogan
Flagship killer for about 3 or 4 years now. LOL

It's a question of selling out on their founding beliefs. OP are tending towards following the pack, rather than finding inventive and appealing ways to attract more followers. Never Settle is the slogan surely? I still have a OP 5, and I will probably wait to see what the 8 brings to the party.

so strange that they didn't give the McLaren edition any faster specs or charging like the last one it's just a 7t pro which to be honest is basically a 7 pro, not a ton of innovation between the models but still great phones, but why would anyone get the McLaren version, who needs 12gig of ram?!? and to spend the money for the material is pretty extreme, so unless your a super big McLaren fan not sure why you would buy it?

The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren will appeal to F1/car fans but also those that want individuality and style to their OnePlus 7T Pro. With the black shine and special typography on the back, papaya orange accents on the side and a case combined with alcantara this all results in a 7T Pro that looks not only stunning but a lot more premium than a standard 7T Pro. I own the 6T McLaren Edition and even last month in 2019 I have friends asking what it is and where they can buy it etc.

Yes, I too would have liked to have seem some extra innovation with the internals and charging - they could have bumped storage to 512GB along with the 12GB RAM and offered a new even faster WarpCharge cable that will be out on 2020 OnePlus phones. However, I think they didn't want to eclipse the 7T Pro too much both in terms of specs and price.

In addition, with the McLaren Edition, OnePlus are likely to add some great extras in the package like the previous 6T McLaren - real carbon fibre McLaren piece and the book that comes alive with video using the phone with it etc. I do get why people wouldn't want to pay the extra for the McLaren Edition but for me, the extra £100 (in my country) is definitely worth the extra money for the premium and individuality.

I see the McLaren Edition launch to directly compete with Apple and Samsung and you'd pay a lot more retail to them for lesser spec smartphones. Finally, compared to other phone companies teaming up with premium car manufacturers like Oppo/Lamborghini etc. the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition price then looks like a bit of a steal!

I think current OnePlus product lines are definitely blurring more than 2018 but to tech guys like us, its not hard to distinguish.Bottom line its great that OnePlus are giving us all a good choice in what to buy in 2019 between the 7 Pro, 7T, 7T Pro and 7T Pro McLaren Edition. I just wish they launched the McLaren Edition now too instead of November, keeping us waiting!

I will say if the 7T Pro doesn't isn't available to the U.S I'll be disappointed. I have a lot of people interest in getting it because of the no notch pop up camera. I have the 7 Pro. I few of my friends want to ditch their pixels and iPhone for it.

I have already bought a 7 Pro... which is fantastic so far. If I didn't have a new smartphone and had to choose between 7 Pro and 7T Pro... I'd go for 7 Pro. I totally don't understand the idea behind 7T Pro. But it's your company and you can do whatever you want :) ... now I'm waiting for OnePlus 10 Pro :)
