Ever wondered why big companies like Sony, Samsung, lg etc have high price for similar size TV's. Because they are far better in terms of features and image quality.

Samsung's 55 inch Qled TV costs around 1.5 lakh in india and OnePlus is providing it at half the price of samsung.
I think 70 thousand is a reasonable price for a QLED TV.

Supporting HDR10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos does not mean a TV's are capable of viewing such content. It means that they can decode the HDR and able to play it on screen.

Minimum requirement for HDR10 and Dolby Vision are:
brightness: 0.05nits to 1000nits(for led backlit lcd)
    local dimming (for lcd tv)
    0.005nits to 550nits (for OLED)
A true 10bit panel with support for wide colour gamut( DCI P3 or rec.2020)
    contrast ratio of 1000000:1 minimum

Dolby Atmos is a similar case. TV that supports it just decodes Atmos signals and play it through TV speakers. If you want true Dolby Atmos sound you need a 7.1.2 channel home theater system.

This means you cannot compare devices available at different price points with different technology.

Well done to OnePlus, blowing the likes of Sony and Samsung clear out of the water at this price range.

Specs are ace for a 1st attempt, other TV manufacturers now have to look up to the OP TV to bring their own specs into line at that price point.

Just a suggestion for the next model.

    64 to 128 GB Ufs 3 storage

    4 to 6 gb ram

Maybe a Qualcomm mid to high range chip.

That will up the game even further, keeping the current mainstream TV manufacturers in the small place

My opinion is that for entering the market it's a long shot becouse off the price tag. I don't say isn't the "right" price. Just say that for a new brand entering in this new world, it's expected to drop the prices a little bit or else the costumers will "run" for the brands that are implemented in the marked. Off course for us, follows of the OnePlus brand, we achied without "problems" but it's too short on sales for OnePlus... They need to sell for all people and that's will be tricky... Selling in the internet... "Never Settle"

won't invest that much money on this tv. I'll instead buy bravia or Samsung. there's nothing special about oneplus anymore. Also this is my last op phone. I'm waiting for pixel 4. better in every way than oneplus.
