How exactly do you think this will improve quality? What brain-washing machine have you been sticking your head into?

And dual speakers? WTF? You want to remove the headphone jack, which provides lossless music to quality headphones or the line-in of home systems, and replace it with another speaker ... so your ringtones and notifications can be louder?

The OnePlus One was dual mono. And PLEASE tell me you aren't buying into the silly idea that two speakers barely an inch apart will give you stereo. You need the sound from each channel to hit your ears at different times. You don't have enough space between the speakers for stereo. And if you did, you are still replacing a good headphone jack for tiny little speakers. WHY??

I did not say what they did, but I am sure they are among the first who will come to this first

I'm interested to see if the DAC built into the new Bullets improves the volume quality on the OnePlus 6. I'm currently using an HTC USB-C dongle and it improves the poor volume delivered through the OnePlus 6's 3.5mm jack a thousand fold.

There is a rumour that the volume level has improved on the OnePlus 6 through the Android Pie/Oxygen 9 update but as of 11/10/2018 I've yet to receive it.

I bought my one plus 6 because it was one of the few devices on the market that still had a headphone jack. the removal of the headphone will only mean my op6 will be my first and last one plus device. it's sad. I really like liked one plus. these usb-c headphones should be an option, not the only way to have wired headphones.

I don't see why you can't offer this as a product while still maintaining the headphone jack. it's like getting rid of Bluetooth just because wifi is superior in both bandwidth and latency. it's ridiculous. Just offer both.

And when every manufacturer with the exception of a few small knock off brands had removed the archaic 3.5mm Jack, what do you do then? Realize the future. Embrace it. Better things come when you let the past become history.

I stop buying a new device until one of the major brands brings one out or I suck it up and get a samsung. Samsung is the major player for Android devices a d they still have a headphone jack and SD card slot, so, this is a poor excuse.

also, what so archaic about a 3.5 mm headphone jack? you make it seem like if it takes up so much space. I refuse to embrace something just for the sake of embracing it. I already sucked it up when they removed SD card slots, I'm not bending over again for the 3.5 mm jack.

Apparently there is a usb clock jitter and the USB sound never be as good as 3.5
Well done Oneplus, but you don't care, no one can find this with bullets plugged in :)

But... what is better if the jack will be removed? Use the "adapter"? Sure, and if you want to charge the phone at the same time?

Samsung... apart the fact that I don't like this company anymore, I read something about removal of jack in the next-gen of Samsung's phones...

It does but the sound quality is a thousand times better using a dongle with a DAC in it than through the 3.5mm headphone jack.
