Don't know, but that raises another question indeed, aside from the simultaneous charging/listening, a splitter would also be required if 2 or more people would want to listen to the output of one device at the same time*. I have an audio splitter for the 3.5mm jack, but indeed, would it be possible with USB Type C earphones too?
Exactly, I love the jack too, hope this doesn't spell the end of it.

    * think of watching a movie or listening to music when traveling together on train/plane/bus/...

Even if this thread is not about the removal of the headphone jack, can we keep it cool and respect others opinions, even if they are not the same as ours?

    That would be great.

Crystal Clear sound? The Bullets series is far away from that stunning sound experience from the OnePlus Icons!

Please bring the OnePlus Icons back!

This is something I'm really interested in trying. I've always wondered if there was a difference between audio over usb compared to the 3.5mm jack on the Oneplus phones. Not saying I don't want to have the option for 3.5 though. I would love to have both options in the future.

BUT will they work with OP2? and if so what can they enhance on the dreadful 'no knobs and dials' sound OP abandoned it with?

I'm not really a power user myself, my OP6 battery lasts about 2 to 3 days. I usually only charge it 2 to 3 times per week. At the office I use a Macbook Pro 2015 edition with 3.5mm jack and HDMI port, although some colleagues do have 2016 or 2017 editions (with USB-C).

I do have to switch to USB-C at some point, I wouldn't mind it. We do have to let go off the 3.5mm jack at some point. I'm just baffled that Oneplus uses the same bogus reasons each time while all they do is follow OPPO. They won't tell the truth and make up polls/stories.

This is some Thursday awesome news Jaden. I think I will add to my collection this pair of Bullets too, along with my Wireless Bullets. Thank you for this great update. Best of luck.

Well the only important reason they mentioned was saving space inside the phone, not the BS Apple did with waterproofing.

And to some extend, it does improve the user experience.

If everything is USB C, there's only one port to care about. otherwise you'll need something that still has a jack.

I'm surprised MacBooks still have one.
But I agree with you, until the majority is USB-C it's not convenient.

However, if no company takes the step you'll never reach that point.
