    Hi all,

I use Intruder Selfie, by google.

However, with my new OnePlus 7 Pro and its pop-up camera, this function does not work properly. The camera often takes a picture before being raised (obviously a dark screen) or prompts the user - i.e. the intruder - a message to raise the camera.

    Any alternatives or workaround available?

Sounds like the app is not compatible with your device , contact the app developer.

Don't leave your phone laying around? Add a message to your lock screen stating that "If you are an intruder, please allow the popup camera to function and snap your picture. Thank you!"

Google doesn't have an app like that.. It's 3rd party developer just letting you know

    Okayyy...?
    Don't get me wrong...
But what use is this app if someone is in the position to pickup your phone and just walk away with it...?
I mean for an sort of trusted environment the phone should be secure not or be entered, by pin or fingerprint...

That cannot be done by the app developer. It should be added in the phone permission system like other brands do for e.g. Vivo & others.

Well, I don't lock my phone in a safe or hide it under the mattress every time I, for example, have a shower. Your housemates might want to intrude your phone and attempt a few codes. Or imagine you leave it on your desk at work and a co-worker tries that. You'd be surprised on the selfies you'll find in the intruder selfie gallery!
