    I changed 1 year ago to android, its a shocking experience at first, android may seem a little too complicated (or maybe IOS was very friendly for me), but you get use to it in 1 or 2 weeks, then everything is normal again, and you start to find some features on android, that makes your every day easy.
    I personally hate samsung devices, I tried one before my current phone and the experience was terrible (I don't like samsung customization, and after 3 weeks it start lagging).
    Right now I am using a Sony Xperia Z ultra, its a Huge device, but the android experience is awesome. I would recommend you to get a Xperia Z2, great camera and display, and its water proof!!!. (Of course if you get the OPO, thats the best option).
    Hope you get an invitation any time soon.

    Same apps ... completely different exprience...

    EX: 1Password for iPhone VS 1Password for Android...

    iPhone = AMAZING! Just perfect
    Android = Watered down version of the iPhone version.

    This goes for the majority of iPhone apps that have been added to Android. They are nothing alike. NOTHING. I will be switching back to iOS AS FAST AS I CAN... I can't take it anymore... This phone is nothing without quality apps.

    1) If you use google services, you''ll be just fine, the populara apps, will be available for you and with your same credentials, the only problem may be the hip apps that kids these days like :p.

    2) Next best thing? maybe an LG G3, a Moto X, Htc one M8, but the most promising ones aren't still here (Moto X+1, Nexus 6)

    3) yeah why not
    I have an Alcatel One touch Idol Ultra, mid range but oh so slim!

    DroidCattle always ask that question... originally it was to purchase the OnePlus (obviously, logic could have determined at least that much)

    But, my interest in OPO died the day that legend Tim Cook announced iOS 8. I'm telling you guys the iPhone 6 will be legendary. You heard it hear first.

    How's that answer for you, idiot?

    If you think Android apps are "amazing" then when you fire up those SAME apps on iOS you will think they are GODLY...

    Android apps PALE in comparison to iOS apps. But, I guess that's what you get for FREE apps. Low quality garbage. Android users are too cheap to pay developers a fair wage, so they put no effort into Android apps... and it REALLY SHOWS!

    inb4 more droidcattle try to defend their low quality operating system with irrelevant posts about the iPhone. xD You guys are lying through your teeth. I came from iOS, switched to the HTC One (one of Androids BEST android devices) and I deeply regret it. What garbage. I will never use another Android again... ever. Yes, I'm rooted, and I've installed MANY roms, even a few nighties. So, I've seen EVERYTHING android had to offer, and I'm quite disappointed. You Android users are pure liars. I was so excited to get an Android... until after about 2 months of use... it became apparent Android sucks, and the apps REALLY suck.

    I've played around with both platforms and have used an iPhone as a daily driver for quite some time. Like you, I too utilize a lot of Google Apps and rarely any of which Apple produces. I've gotten bored of the iOS platform and have found Android KitKat to be phenomenal (wasn't a fan of previous versions of Android). If you were not to get the OPO, I recommend the LG G3, that's a great phone. I'm now using an iPhone 5.
