IP Address Interfered with my Order Aug 25, 2014

    I would like another invite. I waited for 2 months. I live in USA. I finally got my invite while on vacation in the South Pacific Islands, Cook Islands and New Caledonia. Because I only had 24 hours I tried to buy it. My account was already set up with my address in USA. I was using my USA credit card, but the One Plus website thought I was in the Cook Islands to would not let me complete my order. I submitted a ticket to OnePlus but meantime (if they don't respond) I am hoping someone has an invite to pass along for me. Thanks.

    I don't know. I was using my own computer but it was on outside IP. I even tried to use a VPN inside USA but still did not work. Funny because the phone is still in my cart but I can't check out.

    In your cart doesn't mean you can buy it.. if the invite timer is expired...it's done and you can't buy it anymore

    Yup I'm in Canada right now and tried using my US credit card but it doesn't allow you to order to a different country than your billing address

    Yes I assume it's gone forever. FYI for future people. I think, though I am not sure, that you have more than 24 hours if you do not click on the invite. I think the 24 hour clock runs after you click on invite. I wonder if I would have waited until I got back home to click on invite if it would have still worked. But it was like 13 days before I got back after I got invite so I clicked on it and tried but it failed!

    my billing and shipping address both in California. but my IP at the time was in the Cook Islands.

    They don't do Geo-checking. I ordered to a UK address using a UK credit card via the UK store while I was in Hong Kong, no VPN trickery and no issues.

    Nice bonus to come back to after a long shitty flight.

    Being in another country is not an issue. There are a LOT of people from places like Australia who are not one of the launch countries and have successfully ordered.

    Well they don't sell much of anything in the Cook Islands so that's completely unrelated. Are you sure you were trying to buy from the US store? There have been any number of threads where someone with a similar problem changed to their appropriate local domain and everything turned out rosy.

    As a 64k user you should have received your early supporter invite weeks ago - was this via another route? How many invites are you going to waste anyway?

    oh by the way when i was ordering i got error for not supported county because you need unmark the usage of same billing address as shipping address and chose your delivery country from drop down list and i know if you trying to order in US there is some states not supported, try choosing other state for test
