I had been an Android user for several years. All those crashes you mention were the reason for me changing to iOS. Yet all the limitations that Apple imposes were eventually the reason for going back to Android. And I don't regret it! OPO simply never crashes (up till now that is) !

It all depends on how open you are tto a new OS. My honest opinion after jumping from iPhone 4s is there are pros and cons from the switch.

When was the last time you used an android and what was it? Time you you crawled out from the giant Apple sitting on you!

I had mega lags on the iphone 3gs but i know things improved in 4 onwards without buying it ;)

Don't mean to be bringing up a thread from the grave but this is exactly the type of thread I was looking for. I have an iPhone 6, and used to be all about the iOS...

But it really seems like nowadays Apple just doesn't care. The fact that their updates break the ability to use certain features is ridiculous. I decided I'm done with that bullshit and am coming over to android (not too interested in Windows Phone anymore...).

A professor of mine actually has a OnePlus and it looks fantastic; once I looked up the specs and what they were all about I was sold. Even if I don't get an invite quickly I'm going to try and contribute to the community as much as possible. One of my friends said the phone is quite 'hackable' in the sense of software, and that makes me incredibly excited, especially coming from an iPhone.

I guess what I came here to say is iPhone go away come here OnePlus!

OPO definitely an upgrade! Limitations on Apple are a killer! And a jailbroken apple just crashes even more than android.

Upgrade. Ever tried developing for iOS/Mac? It's like wrestling a moody bear. One second it's all working perfectly, then you add a UITableView, and everything goes to shit.

All depends what your looking for in a phone I guess. I personally would never go back to the closed iPhone system. But I can see how some people enjoy the simplicity.
