is 5G dangerous and would it be stopped even if it were?

    Ellistar , Apr 30, 2019 :
The hype train is off and running for everyone and not just OnePlus. I am just as excited as everyone else here about the new 7 and 7pro, and I am sure that tech fans the world over are building up steam for their favourites.

But there is a little reason to worry this time round and this time it isn't the handsets.

Cities, countries and maybe even the EU might consider banning testing of the new 5G wavebands. Why? They seem to be way over safe radiation limits for us and wildlife. Being described by some as, the stupedest thing man has ever done.

Now I think we can argue about what might be man's most dumb achievement, but if 5G is not safe why is it ratified? Why are phones being produced as 5G ready? Most importantly what happens to owners of phones if the 5G networks have to be changed and the phones with them?

I have seen the question asked here what about a non 5G 7? Well you might be getting what you asked for!

I truly hope that this isn't true but I would be interested to hear what, if any, safety testing oneplus themselves have done with 5G, and what everyone thinks about the future of 5G and its safety.

    Cheers all
    Jeremy

Where's your evidence 5G is dangerous and any country is thinking of banning it? In the very unlikely event it's banned, or delayed, 5G phones will still work on 3G & 4G networks as our 4G phones do now on 3G networks.

    What?

Can you provide sources and evidence to back up your claims? No where have I ever read that 5g was dangerous to anything.

It's easy to dismiss this because Brussels ban it and they are the nutters of the eu. (not that I believe that for a second) but 95 times higher than is healthy is quite enough for anyone.

Okay.... so nothing conclusive then, basically a bunch of conjecture among professionals - some of whom agree it is dangerous and others who don't.

It's CERN's Black Holes and Tesla's AC all over again...

In the past hundred years electromagnetic emissions increased by a whoknowwhat fold but humans are getting older and older....

Unless it's radioactive or at a frequency that has an immense effect on the kinetic energy of molecules, I don't believe anything of this....

It's not like that we're living inside a Faraday's cage with a Magnetron...

Nah, even if it is a problem, 5g won’t be a problem when it comes to radiation. Way more radiation levels is needed for it to have an effect on the body. In a few years time, when 5g actually becomes widespread, the tech would have matured enough to not be harmful in the slightest.

Also this. Thank you for this lmao
