Is Nexus5x/6p worthy competitor to One plus two ?

5X does not stand a chance against OP2. And personally I am not willing to shell out additional $200/- for NFC, quick charging and QHD. Agree the OS on OP2 is not optimized but that is just a matter of time, and in OP2 there is 1GB more ram than 6P. Had the price of 64 GB 6P been under $500/- it had a shot. But at the moment OP2 stands way taller. All these are just a matter of personal preferences buddy.;) Cheers!

Compare Nexus 6p with 600$ devices not with 389$.... (64gb)
At 600$ there might be better options than 6p but at 389$ op2 will beat nexus 5x...
So it will be a individuals decision... It budget is limited = op2
If no problem of money than look for a 600$ phone which are always more premium ;)

Pretty solid phone. Not many phones out there that can compete with the OP2 IMO if you only consider current-gen phones. The Nexus 6P is actually pretty good but much more expensive. Can't say for sure until it's out for testing. Also, this phone will be the only other phone this generation with powerful and active development besides the OP2. Which is invaluable.

I'd take the OP2 over the 5X but the 6P over the OP2. I have the OP2 and like it a lot but am considering picking up the 6P in a few months.

I think Oneplus is really learning fast, see lots of people with invites nowadays. I am not really bound to any brand but price/quality/spec ratio oneplus looks hard to compete in MHO.
Lack of NFC is bad choice (but I would not use it (yet)).
If Oneplus would do more on info about software updates, like new Marshmallow rollout for me it would be obvious choice at the moment

Not everyone can buy a phone with little to no regard for the price. While I would rather have the 6p it would cost me almost $300 more than the OT2.

ON Price Oneplus 2 wins on support Nexus wins. If you are willing to live without a phone for a month or 2 if things go wrong get a oneplus. If reliability is important pay more and get a Nexus. I'm sorry to say this but for most people a phone is a indispensable business tool with a lot of personal Information and apps needed on a day to day basis. So living without a phone for a month if something goes wrong makes not only the Nexus but any phone even the Samsung Galaxy Alpha a better proposition. If the target market is not business people but people who change their phones every 6 months I. E. People who treat phones like new toys and have to have the latest model with the best specs then maybe the oneplus wins it should last the 6 months to the next phone.

You nailed it in one. The 6p is what the 2 should have been. Plus with Google you know your device will be supported. (anyone checked the status of oxygen os for the Oneplus One lately?)

Ha, just added 64 Graphite to my collection. Now I need to wait and see if one or more phones will leave there collection. +1 or +2 will be probably leaving. Gotta keep N5 will see about N4 and GN2.
I like my +2 but Netflix seems washed out compared to my +1 and even N5. I know +1 has lots of development but not sure if +2 will even come close. Ohhh the decisions...

The 6p looks sexy af and its great device, no one can deny. But its priced so highly that I might as well get a note 5 with ALL the bells and whistles. Dxomark still haven't reviewd the oneplus 2 camera tho :(

The Oneplus 2 got the disadvantage of an OS which can not compete with the vanilla android Google delivers. I have sold my Oneplus 2 and will get the Nexus 6P. The camera of the 6P is a lot better than the Oneplus 2.

It looks really nice IMO but I'm not a fan of the black bar, i know the black one doesn't show it off as much but the lighter coloured ones look better to me.

And yeah i agree, given the choice I'd rather just get the note 5.
