Read all the discussions. Friends.. Dont be so negative.
And about NFC. It wouldn't have hurt if they would have added this tiny feature (out of heaven lot of features already in the package) too. But why look at the empty glass?? NFC is not used by the masses.

    Eagerly waiting for the invites.

Btw, i read a lot of posts that said if we click on the invites/referral link, who is within 10,000 position (or any), and enter the reservation list, we get bumped up to the closest spot possible??

If that's the case, my spot is 2484.. So if i the above info is true, wont mind sharing my referralcode/invitation link.

    Be good. Do good!

OP claims they didn't include NFC because most people didn't/don't use it on their OPO's. Me, personally, have had NFC on my current (now dead) phone (RIP little Nexus 4) and only used it maybe once or twice when I first got the phone because I wanted to see how it works. Hence, the lack of NFC isn't a deal breaker for me...and I'm guessing there are many other users out there like me who barely (if at all) use the NFC on their phones. I guess we'll have to see how NFC friendly the world becomes in 2016-2017 to see if the lack of NFC is going to be a huge misstep by OP. Time always tells all....

Don't know why Android Authority is making a big issue out of the lack of NFC in the OnePlus 2! Did they make an issue when iPhone didn't have NFC, Dual sim, WiFi direct, Widgets etc etc etc? Why target OnePlus for this one feature???
Answer is simple: They were not able to find anything to criticize and had to capitalize on whatever they can sell as a gap. Pathetic!

If the +2 has a removable battery like Samsung S4, they could sell a battery that has integrated NFC for those who really think this is a deal-breaker

I have features on my current phone that I rarely/never use, including NFC. The OP2 not having said feature is no big deal for me personally. And unless you use NFC on a daily basis, taking a credit card out of your wallet when making a purchase or monetary transaction ain't gonna kill ya. ;)
