Is the OPO worth, due to OPT being around the corner

So I recently decided to buy the One even though my curent phone (S3 mini) still works after two years. But then I saw that Oneplus is preparing a new phone - One plus two. Now I can not decide to buy it or not
What do you suggest? Should I buy the OPO now or wait until OPT is released??
I want to have a very good phone, such as OPO, but if OPT comes out this year I could wait. But that depends on the release date of the OPT (It is said that it will come out Q2-Q3, but the Q3 is way too long). Any info on more precise release date?

Didn't you say you already decided?
Go ahead with the one .you won't be able to get a two until late in the year anyway.

Betting they do the same invites system... which means it may be released in Q3, but you'll be lucky to get an invite in the first six months. I wouldnt wait for it, myself.

There is no precise release date yet. It might arrive in Q3, more likely.

If your S3 is on its last leg, then buy it. If you think it can last for a couple more months, then wait for it.

Why do people keep posting these threads like the OPT is coming soon? No one really knows when it's coming out, it looks like late in the year. I've seen no indications that it's soon...

OnePlus Two is still 6 months away. The OnePlus One is still a great phone and cheap enough to be an impulse buy. Get it, be happy for 6 months, then upgrade to the Two.

OPO, imho, is the best you can get as of right now. Even with OPT release, how much better do you think it will be? Extra .5 gb of ram? 3GB QuadCore processor? I highly doubt there will be any significant changes.
I got my OPO out of necessity (my old Galaxy 1 crapped out on me after 5 years of use), but from what I read/see, it's a beast of a device that even after a year from it's original release date, most current android devices can't hold a candle to.

Go for OPO. As everyone said, OPT will launch in next 6 months and too with an invite system. Till then you can get your hands-on on OPO and you will not regret it. You will rather love it than S3 mini. Lots of customizations.

I don't know why you would wait for the OPT for the following reasons:
    1. Probably won't be out until the end of the year.
    2. Like the OPO, it will be difficult to get at first.
    3. OPO has great specs (one of the best for 2014) and will be a viable phone for several years, with updates promised for at least 2 more years.
    4. If your current phone is on its last legs, no guarantee it will last until you are able to get a OPT.
    5. OPO is easier to get than ever, thanks to No Invite Tuesdays.
    6. Price point on OPO is great, no guarantee of similar low price for OPT.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Go for it.

As the OPT will use a Snapdragon 810, it will not be significantly faster than the OPO, and if you dislike the styling or if they **** it up with silly features (2K display, 5" screen) you'll probably buy the OPO anyway.
