Could you explain in detail, why is it awful? Gesture navigation 2.0 is literally just new animation and the new quick switch gesture. Everything else works as before

Swipe up and hold to go to recents doesn't exist anymore. It's replaced with swipe to the middle of the screen as well as haptic feedback not existing with that gesture

yeah but gesture navigation is built into launcher apk (i learned that the hard way) and t mobile uses there own modified launcher. thats why you also got quick app switch gesture 15 days late.

Hmmm it seems like before the update i did hold on the middle of the screen so i never noticed the change. And you're right about the haptic feedback. If you want to return to the old navigation, you can uninstall updates on the oneplus launcher (Go to settins, apps, search for the launcher and uninstall), But if you have auto update on, it will update again. (I'm guessing this will work, altough if the launcher update was installed via a system update, i doubt if it will work)
