DeejayJoseph007 , via OnePlus 8 Pro , Apr 19, 2020 : I was playing around with the OnePlus 8 Pro at night when I noticed this. when the display is at 120 hz and the brightness is low at around 5 to 15 percent, the dark apps with slightly higher level of black (say 0x 070707) has very inconsistent coloring. the edges seem darker and the whole background seems nonuniform. When I change the mode to 60hz, all that is miraculous gone. consistent coloring. is this something everyone is facing?
MarkoBatrac , via OnePlus 8 Pro , Apr 19, 2020 : Yeah, everyone I think.It is ok if you don't see green color etc. but if you turn Dc dimming ,than it is ok.. I even notice the same on op5. I don't know reason why, we need some word from Oneplus
ShehryarHussain786 , Apr 22, 2020 : Yeah I noticed this as well but after turning DC dimming on its not that obvious.
