It's all in the details. OnePlus 7T Circular Camera Housing Design

I agree with all of the points u made to defend the camera bump on the 7T ,but my question is why it is so sharp around ? If i touch around the camera circle without a case it feels as sharp as a blade.

I didn't notice that, but I've had the case that came with the phone on since day one. I did notice that the factory clear case is extremely well designed. It protects both the front and back since it is raised just the perfect amount, so if you set the phone down either front or back, it's protected. I also really appreciate the fact that they included a screen protector right out of the box. I think I'm going to get a glass and install it over the factory one. Might help in a drop.

Sorry to comment too much, but with these specs at the price, who really cares all that much. Overlooking all the good things, and focus on one perceived "issue" seems self-defeating.

If (for you) the camera arrangement is less than your perfect choice, OK. But keep in mind if you are married, or are planning to, you may know that seeking perfection is a fools errand.

Phones are like relationships, married and otherwise, which require you to compromise. If you want perfection, don't buy a phone OR get married. you'll be disappointed.[e]1f494[/e]

Great software and hardware . Beautiful and convenient interface. very good performance.good battery .fast charging . all seems to be a great package .but when it comes to build quality.; we don't need a peeler .we all want a phone with smooth and flat build module. And don't force everyone to use a case. Photo credits: Linus Tech Tips from you tube. NEVER SETTLE. I will be a culprit if I forget to mention about the 90hz .So 90 Hz refresh rate with accurate haptic feedback gives us the ultimate experience on 7T .[e]1f44d[/e]

OnePlus 7t camera Design is worst design in any mobile phone. OnePlus is best everything but OnePlus u guys is far more behind in camera department. even though you guys are using latest camera sensor. you are not able to make good software to use that sensor. shame on you OnePlus.
and portrait mode is horrible. even a $200 phone can produce better portrait photo than OnePlus.
    i hate OnePlus camera.

tbh it's really not that bad of a camera and it is on par for the price. and while it's not the best in it's class, most people aren't getting one for its camera.

Sounds like you have no experience with the phone or camera.... Do you have an iPhone, or Pixel? I am amazed at the ability of the cameras on my 7T. No complaints and one of the few with a great macro feature. So, what is your proof of what you state..? Opinion, reviews, or just blather?

I believe Google Pixel 4 design was deliberately missed from the comparison which is the far best implementation of this year.
7T camera housing reminds me of old Motorola devices and not to offend anyone here but that's not unique at all.

my vote without a doubt will go with Samsung S10 & Google Pixel 4 device which is unfortunately skipped from the comparison.

Google is able to produce with software what no other company can do, so to compare it to a Google pixel is unfair. try comparing it to a Samsung phone in that price range and Samsung is the number one seller of phones in the world and OnePlus is on par and everyone who knows anything about smartphones know that the pixel long is the exception to the rule and so too compare it to the pixel doesn't mean anything

I have used both those phones as well and so no you don't. and it so then you would know that the hardware on those phones was terrible with bad ram management and a mediocre processor and so would you rather have a bad phone with a great camera or a great phone with ok cameras?
