    I almost had the same problem, tried to register the card did the 4 digits thing and the transaction failed like 4 times I tried, so the solution was a friend who had no PayPal account yet, registered from the op page. And the payment was validated as he got registered at that moment (I had an acc before but my card was outdated and then the 2-3 days thing made it impossible, luckily I got help just before the time expired) sucks but I hope you made it on time

    It didn't work for me, the transaction wouldn't go through after validating the card and everything, a friend could pay it for me by creating his acc at the op/PayPal window (mine was outdated, updated a new card at the moment and did as instructed)

    That's exactly what I was thinking. I had PayPal setup and I am almost certain I didn't have to go through all of that when I initially set it up. As a matter of fact, I still get emails about me needing to finish setting up my account and debit/credit card info but I was able to buy the OnePlus 2 with no problem.
