Jio Sim Sms are not Going Aug 19, 2018

    Parit Sharma , Aug 19, 2018 :
    From last 7-10 days sms form Jio sim are not going.
    once I send a msg three dots keeps buffering and after a minute or two a notification pop ups that msg sending failed.

    tried same Jio sim in Samsung A6+ , sms are going..

    tried that sim back to OP5 same issue persists..

    anyone also facing this issue.

    I complained to Jio team, changed smsc no. to 1234 but problem is still UNRESOLVED..
    Jio people are helpless n working on it, suggested me to update my phone which is already updated to latest.

    Also tried resetting network settings and rebooting.. but no positive development..

    Users are reporting about network fluctuations ,WiFi stability , download full rom from the official site and update the same .

    if you are not aware, go to message app- select settings - scroll down - and there will be smsc number setting... please make sure that you have it right... or else contact jio customer service and ask for them , they will give you

    There's a SMSC number. Check if it's updated..
    For Jio +917010075009 you should have this number

    +917010075009 is currently SMSC number but still message sending fails. Showing "Can't send message with Jio 4g, error - 1"

    Yes when sim is insert in another phone sms is getting delivered but not in my 5T device. Tried all previously mentioned steps but still sms sending fails.

    Just keep Jio in sim1. Remove the second sim and then try

    Kept single Jio Sim in Sim 1 slot but still same error.
