That survey was a piece of shit:

Here is what needs to happen for the next Oneplus phone:

1: Become IEC standard 60529 compliant. Come on. Its gonna be 2019

2: Wireless charging (and standard, no propitiatory bullshit). Warn that it is slower than Dash Charging, I think everyone and their stupid children should know this by now but still...warn. I understand this would drive up the price.

3: Return of the notification LED. Many manufacturers use their OLED display for this but I think a dedicated LED that isnt on 24/7 is a better solution. Plus its something cheap to implement.

4: Fighting for the return of the 3.5mm is pointless SO I suggest that OnePlus take a risk and be pioneers: Two USB-C connectors. This allows thousands of possibilities from using your phone as a mobile replacement (USB-C to DP and the other for a M/KB combo), charging and listening to music at the same time, etc. The issue here is that I do not know if there is a chip so small that can handle two USB-C ports on a phone. Much like point 2, I understand this would drive up the price.

5: Im not sure but seeing the reaction, has the notch really done anything? At all?

Right now, we are at a point that the current smartphone generation is at its peak and is going to die as we know it. Thats why these things need to be implemented by next year because come 2020 we will have the next generation of mobile devices: Foldable displays. This will completely change how we use smartphones (I believe even more than when the iPhone was introduced)

Also, I dont think OnePlus should be "scared" of jacking the price up a bit. If you want to be taken serious and make people feel like they are buying a premium product, then they must buy a premium device. In moderation of course.
