Probably because a very small amount of users actually use the IR blaster, I mean who uses their phone as a replacement tv remove

Why not increasing your battery size to lets say 4000 mAh? It would be a real unique selling point in the high-end market!

I tried phone myself, max volume, didn't seem distorted, mind you there was a DJ at event playing music, lots of people talking, etc. I don't see how you can really check. I did note that my 5T seemed slightly louder at max volume vs the OP6 I tried at max.

It would increase the price as well, people are barking about the price now when it's 500-600$ imagine if it was 700.

Why, you know most people who went to the launch event will be buying the phone at the pop-up not online, you trying to pull a fast one?

There's already a unboxing video available in YouTube. The cable it had in it resembled the same cable which are provided for OP phones except that it's shorter in length.

    Hello @Carl and @Kale W.
I am Prasoon Mehra from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India
Congratulations on the OnePlus 6 and the Bullets Wireless Launch. I am a proud owner of OnePlus 3 and I am interested in OnePlus 6. I heard about the Trade-In programmes but there is a lot less information provided for it. If you can make me understand more about it, it will be helpful. Also are there any benefits of buying from oneplus.com channel as I already prebooked through amazon e-gift card option.
    waiting for your reply :)

@Vito L. You have made a big point in explaining the reasoning to chose to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 in the OnePlus 6. However from what I can see, you didn't have any other choice. Apple, Samsung and Huawei don't provide their chips to other OEMs currently. While Intel and Nvidia no longer produce smartphone chips. This only leaves Mediatek which no global flagship uses. Therefore the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor was the only one you could use. Do you think the effective monopoly that Qualcomm has is partly responsible for the increase price in the OnePlus 6 compared to previous generation devices?
