Carl, Jun 25, 2014 : Our early supporters are the reason we're here. They've been helping us spread the word for months, and believed in us at a time when others did not. Thanks guys! In July, we will be focused on early supporters in a big way. We've gotten our components in place and raised our production yield rate. It's the first month in which we'll have significant production volumes, and it's about time we hook our early members up. Before we continue further, I'd like to clear something up. I've seen people making guesses about our shipments, oftentimes to make a certain point. These guesses have way underestimated the amount of devices we've shipped. In any given community, the vast majority are passive. Our active members are only a small slice of a bigger whole. We will use small portion of our July production for some existing customers to give away, and we'll use a very small part on contests to make sure that early supporters who didn't sign up also have a chance to purchase our product. What's an early supporter? Previously, we would include activity and other metrics in the mix in determining this. This time, it's all about registration date. Going by registration date means that there will be a lot of people whose accounts aren't active, which is why the early supporter invites in July will last 24 hours. As they expire, the next people in line will get them. We'll start sending early supporter invites out on July 7, and continue throughout the month.
