Jumping from H to H+ all the time

    Hi,

Not sure if this is a OPO/CM issue or a network (Three UK) issue.

I find that the phone is constantly switching between H and H+. If I try and use the data connection for something (loading a webpage for example), the phone will invariably be in H to start off with, then will switch to H+ at which point it will load the page (nothing happens whilst it's in H). Indeed it seems I get response at all whilst the phone is in H, but doing something which utilises the connection will after anything from 1-10 seconds, bump it up to H+ and start working.

Don't have another phone to try the SIM in at the moment, so like I said, not sure if it's a phone/software issue or a network issue.

    Cheers

I believe so, I'm on the Three 4G APN which has always worked fine in terms of giving me some sort of connection (although I would expect to get more 4G signal where I am according to their coverage checker)

This is very normal. Most phones are constantly switching back and forth, go to three and their sales people should tell you the same thing.

I am experiencing some weird signal behaviour as well, more with the latest 33r then before, the phone unfortunatelly seems to be having a little bit worser receiver or maybe it is really just a software bug.

It switches between them because of a weak signal. The websites don't load well on "H" because a weak hspa signal is very slow. On the other hand, a weak hspa+ (H+) signal is still pretty fast

h is 3g not in usage to save battery h+ is when you are actually loading stuff and need the speed.

I have at times seen the logo of H+ while when i do a speed test i get LTE speeds. Does not make sense , but hey as long as i get the speed i don't care.

It could also be ATT. They never have their shit sorted out.

I've noticed the same on mine but I'm getting very patchy signal right now, not sure whether it's the OPO or my carrier in the areas I'm in but the standby process in battery is showing no signal for upwards of 40% of the time, which is stupidly high.

Make sure you register your imei # with your service provider; in my case I'm with ATT and after I gave them my imei# they optimized my Oneplus to run on LTE. The voice call will sometime switch to H+ but it's normal.

FIX: flash thd find 7a modem, then flash backup of onepluses modem.
Then go to *#*#4636#*#* and go to phone
Then change sdcmda to prl auto.
Then click menu and select data
Then go to apns and reset (33r)
