but i heard (discussed in previous post in this thread) that you have to install all the updates to get the latest update... it is a chronological thing.

It's always suggested to avoid any problem , expecially who root and tweak his phone , to make a clean install. I had no problems updating my phone but seems that a lot of people are able to mess up even with a simple ota.

I have the 38R update, and everything seems to be OK. Perhaps sometimes some public WIFIs doesn't work, I don't know why. But my home's WIFI works OK.Is there a list of known problems?

On the other hand, today I've been informed in my OPO about the new update, 44S. But if something works, don't try to repair it, isn't it? I'm not sure to update, what's the fixed bugs? Is there an official list of fixes?

    Regards from Spain

44S feels smoother to me, and got rid of the only bug I was having, which was the "black bar" glitch. But even then, it was very rare and went away on its own. I'd definitely update to 44S. Even battery life seems normal to me. Currently at 12%, with 1d 13h 45m.

Battery is still great (77% after 8 hours of normal use, about an hour screen on time).
Random reboot issue (happened 2-3 times a day) seems gone (not seen it for 24 hours now).
Like previous updates, it was entirely uneventful and made the phone better.

Funny, I've only had wireless experiences with this phone - not wired. Nor weird. And as far as waiting to see who posts, remember that few people post to say they aren't having problems.

Sorry for typo..... It really gets annoying when browser shut downs in the middle of typing a thread.
I glad to see people are having good experience with their OPO.... I'm worried coz my experience in not like others. Even some people suggest me to do the rooting and install other utility, but i'm not even doing that either. Reason is the same.. When my OPO will do what it supposed to do...then i can do other experiment including update. Thanks.

I dont have a 1+1, but i agree, there are thousands of ppl that are happy or couldnt care less to share there experience with the new update, so if you see a dozen of bad posts on the update, it doesnt mean that its bad, and not seeing enough good threads doesnt mean its not good :)

Not a bad idea but I would update as soon as the update is pushed to your phone. So far this update has fixed any problems I had in the 38r and I am going to assume the next ota is lollipop.

I'm getting mixed review of the OTA. Some saying it's great, some sayings Wi-Fi, call, battery etc issues.
