[Latest 3.2.4] [OnePlus 3] Mirrors for official Oxygen OS ROMs and OTA updates

    Naman Bhalla, Jun 17, 2016 :
Credits :- @Grarak for Recovery. @Spannaa for inspiration and SuperSU (SuperSU here is just a Systemless version made by him). I really wish Spannaa gets an OP3 and maintains this. No one can replace him.

Since OnePlus don't currently provide download links for their OnePlus 3 Oxygen OS ROMs & OTA update zips, I've mirrored them all on AndroidFileHost and put the links in one post so that they're easy to find.

The latest full version can be downloaded directly from OnePlus downloads.

There are two types of file for each ROM: signed flashable zips and OTA incremental update zips.

Signed flashable zips: These are recovery-flashable zips of the full ROM that won't overwrite your data partition. They can be flashed via stock or TWRP recovery.

OTA incremental update zips: These are recovery-flashable zips that update your rom to a newer version. They can be flashed via stock or TWRP recovery but will only work on non-rooted devices with no modifications to system files.

I've also included links for TWRP custom recovery and SuperSU.

Note: Since OTA incremental update zips will fail on rooted devices or devices with modifications to system files, it's not possible to use these to update without reverting back to completely stock, unrooted first.

To update you must either wait for the new, full, signed flashable zip to appear (usually a few weeks after the OTA update) or use the following workaround:

    • Boot into TWRP recovery
    • Flash the latest full signed flashable zip
    • Flash the new OTA incremental update zip
    • Flash the SuperSU zip
    • Reboot
The result is exactly the same as if you'd flashed the new, full rom zip.

    Signed flashable zips

If I have a rooted device and want to do OTA, can I just unroot it, apply the OTA and re-root?

I won't pin unless admins want to.

And BTW You can't unroot and flash. Normal procedure is to flash full ROM of the version you are on and then immediately flash OTA for it.

    Good!

So that's the full ROM then? I assume it was pulled from a device?

Good thing to have it i'm surprised OP doesn't have these up right away but from what I hear 3.1.3 is out anyway

Just saw that there is the signed flashable zip, but not the fastboot stock image. Do you know when we may have this stock image? Kernel is already out in the wild, software opened to devs, signed zip is here, so I guess it should arrive shortly?

Furthermore, I don't know if it is the same process as the OnePlus 2 or OnePlus One in terms of commands / partitions, but do you think a guide will appear?

    Thanks again!

Guide for ? Guide for unlocking bootloader is already there by @Funk Wizard and me.
And fastboot images are a total different thing.

I meant guides to flash all partitions from fastboot image in a terminal (i.e. fastboot flash user userdata....., fastboot flash boot boot.img, etc...).
