12Mb from 3.1.3 or from 3.1.2? Should be different though...

    Hi guys!

Just a quick question: now I'm on HydrogenOS, am I able to flash these signed OxygenOS firmware directly from the local update section in the update menu?
Also, when I am on OxygenOS (with no root and locked bootloader) am I able to receive Ota updated directly from the update menu?

    Thank you very much! :)

Should be from 3.1.3 not sure though all speculations, we need to wait it out

    Yes and Yes

Just download load the full 3.1.3zip and sideboard it via recovery

I doubt was from 3.1.3, cause is not an official OTA, mine came with 3.1.0, and OTA stock to 3.1.2. And is all, so seems there's no 3.1.3 OTA, and this is why i think could be more than one path to 3.1.4 (from 3.1.3 and from 3.1.2) with different sizes...

Thank you for the quick answer Funk Wizard!

But, now I have another question: why do you suggest to use the ADB sideload installation instead of just using the stock update menu? (of course I'm talking for unrooted users)

    Thanks!

Yes that's the only option for unrooted users with Stock recovery as the os is encrypted

mmm ok, so I have to sideload it, not install from the update menu! (less than Hydrogenos isn't encrypted, but I don't think so!)
PS: does oem unlocking option in the developer menu adjust anything?

    Thanks :D

So did OP pull the 3.1.3 update because of the 3.1.4 coming soon or what's going on? No one seems to have gotten an OTA for it

not needed if you are not unlocking the bootloader, just sideload the zip for installation

@Naman Bhalla I used fastboot format userdata to decrypt my phone, but it still says encrypted in settings. Is it supposed to be like that? Does it only decrypt the partitions?
