    Hello guys,
We are currently working on a project. We're tuning our lawnmower, we got two mowers, we already swapped the front axle, lowered the seat, changed the shifting mechanism, lowered the steering wheel and lowered the side panels. We would like to pully-swap the pullies, the mower could drive 40-50 Km/h when the pullies are swapped. We got a 12HP Briggs&Stratton motor.

    My question is:
Do you guys know where to buy lawnmower pullies? We'd rather buy it on a dutch site/ on an international site with quite affordable shipping costs.

Following this thread to see how it works out for you, have you contacted the manufacturer to find out your local dealer ?

Well, we bought a mower on "marktplaats" (translated: marktplace) a 2nd hand reseller site. and we bought on marktplaats a mower, but without electronics, motor and ligts, so it's a frame with panels and wheels. I don't think that the manufacterers want to know anything of what we are doing with two diffrent brands ;-) I could contact the site for the pully information. It seemed that those pullies were quite universal.

    1st pully: Briggs&stratton
    2nd pully: Murray
Those two pullies don't have the same connection :-(

Still may be able to help source the actually belts you need, sounds like you are going to have to make some modifications that may void any warranty though :D What about any local agricultural mechanics ? they could also be worth a visit/call ?

It would be a wonder if we still had warranty, the working mower had a bad rear-axle....
The frame had a bad front-axle.... Als the frame had a few welded things, those two things weren't really in a good condition, It's a project to make a custom mower.

I'll post a few pics (don't look at the paint, it still needs to be painted)

    I use gocart chains.
    Easy to get sprockets.
I keep one belt for clutch use.

So depends a bit on make n stuff.
Also i have a gocart engine now, then got rid of angle "gear" setup.
Basically its now a gocart with mover looks.
Will do 160km/h on paper, but its not usable near that speed.

This is how we got the frame: [IMG]
How much HP do you have?
Is it hard to use a chain? Because how does it work with a clutch? I got a shift on the go mower.

Please don't comment about the paint, there's still a lot to do.....

This is how it looked when we got the frame:

We changed the position of the shifting mechanism, now it's between your legs, also we lowered the steering weel a bit, the side panels are alwo lower:

    Side panels:

This is an indication of how you'll sit. The seat will be a bit higher, and the steering weel lower
    (not me in the picture):

This is how it looks now, the fron-axle is also swapped:

We peeled a lot of paint off. We're going to paint it, before we paint we will try to abrade the paint.
