I've sold some stuff and was keeping money to purchase new phone as my OP3, start to giving up slowly, especially power button, so I've got 370 quid saved and managed to snug Limited edition Black 8gb+128gb Pop-up box for 799, with around 120 quid worth of addons, so in fact I've paid around 430 for lot, still less than I've paid for OP3 years back. So yeah, good deal for me

OP8 should be even cheaper the downgrades are ridiculous enough that it's not a viable alternative to the pro.

Glad the pro finally caught up with other 4 year flagships with wireless charging and ip68. It looks like something I'd buy if it were cheaper.

I really liked the idea of having the curved screen on both the phones as it's something I've always liked ( and wanted ) in a smartphone design !

And yeah, I know that not everyone likes this feature of or is gonna agree with , but according to me it makes the phone look and feel futuristic and truly without bezels !

The phones are really great, awesome specs, but the prices are a joke.
you really forgot what was the purpose of creating a great community and listening to your peeps.
it is a shame that you decided to raise the prices.
especially during these times, when everything is uncertain and people losing jobs, but I don't think that is your problem.
I am a happy owner of a 3T and you guys just made me keeping it.
I just hope that you will return your face to your peeps and work with and for them, not against them.

    plz read.
OnePlus has lost their way..the way of flagship killer. They are concentrating on the pro model but they forgot that it's the regular one which got them the market. Given the fact that they have to make the pro model look cooler. Then why increase the price of the regular one? and that too by that much. I have some comparison to make. op8 pro got the soc upgade to qs865 which the op8 got too. but the op8 did not get the ip68, wireless 30, lpddr5 RAM. plus I feel the camera setup got downgraded from the 7t. Then why this much price for the regular op8? Indians generally buy OnePlus coz of that price point of 35-40K. The Indian prices are not still out but thats not looking good as well. Its(buying OnePlus @~50k) like buying realme phones @40k. people will buy samsung or apple instead. I was so damn looking forward for the op8 for the last few months and to add to that, my op5 just got broken 3 days ago. I am so damn hurt.

Looks awesome! Would love to get one but my OnePlus 6 is still doing a great job. I might just wait for the 8t or 9 then

    Hi community,
As the owner of a one plus since 2015 and thinking about changing equipment (staying at oneplus is my idea) I don't understand the company's price policies, as they bet more on the US market when they have a slightly lower population (~ 333 584 805 ) to eurozone countries (~ 341 464 266), the euro currency is worth more than the dollar at this time and the company's price list does not make an equivalent price conversion. It is unfair for the European population as well as for all European oneplus users !!
