this Lenovo Vibe X3 looks pretty interesting. I have no idea what it will cost or if the renders are at all accurate...but I think it looks great and love the front facing speakers.

    http://www.phonearena.com/news/Leno...-reveal-a-pretty-well-rounded-package_id72306

    • 5-inch, 1080p display
    • Hexa-core Snapdragon 808 humming at 1.8GHz
    • 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM
    • 32GB of storage, microSD card slot
    • 20MP rear camera with dual-LED flash/ 7MP front-facing one
    • Fingerprint scanner at the back
    • LTE, single nano SIM card slot
    • Android 5.1.1 with Lenovo Vibe UI running atop
I think the 808 will be very good on a 1080p screen.
if they price this right, it will be another sucker punch for OPT

808 still a very good processor, and Lenovo did produce really good phones in recent years

yeah, I've got no issue with the 808.
i've never owned a Lenovo device, but they do seem to be on a bit of a roll this year.
I'm holding off all phone purchases until the nexus stuff is released, so hopefully I'll be able to compare this Lenovo, the Moto X, the Zuk, the OPT, the Nexus, and whatever else pops up in the near future. So many phones that at least look good on paper to be releasing soon!

yeah, its 5.5" and the top and bottom look pretty big.
I would prefer 5", but the specs look great and the price is awesome. hopefully it truly has stereo front facing speakers.

Google seems very quiet about what LTE support the phone will have. I'm guessing it will be a competitor for the OPX, though.

I wanted to buy ZUK, but they are stuck in Europe. By the way, Zte lowered the price on Axon Pro to $399. Taking into account it has JBL earphones and 2-year warranty, it is a good deal. I am with you on LeTV: I would buy a couple.:)

Yep, they are moving worldwide. Because they do not make money on phones, their devices will be cheaper than those of their competitors. Technically, they want to sell their own ecosystem: the devices, including phones, TV sets, and electric cars in the future, working on one software platform and delivering all sorts of entertainment and information.

I don't really know a lot about the company...but I guess they are more of a content provider than a hardware maker.

As long as the hardware is good and software is on par.....and the price is competitive enough , They'll definitely sell.

Based on what I read: 11 million preorders of 1s in one week and 500,000 preorders in one hour, they are really selling.:)

I guess they want to hook you for future content. Their goal is probably to outsmart Amazon.:)
