Anyone has 9.5.1 firmware? I want to flash it.
And does TP sensor mean "touch panel" proximity sensor?

My phone started with phantom touches from the moment I unboxed my phone. I've turned off NFC and the problem has subsided. Please OnePlus address and fix this issue. I love this phone and would hate to have to return it!

Ok CPUZ is the only place where I can see the issue and it si vary rear. If I would not install It I would be sure that I have no issue at all. My Software version is 9.5.4.GM21BA I live in Poland and I am not sure if I will get any new update or not(depends if Poland is treated as Global or EU ;) )

I believe so. Pretty much since I took the phone out of the box. Maybe the update took place automatically and I didn't notice it. Either way this problem sucks.

I also live in Poland and only CPU-Z makes those things with ghost touch. Same software in my P7 Pro. Credit card doesn't makes it happens on homescreen.

This is exactly the same for me. I got my Oneplus 7 Pro (12gb/256gb EU) on Sunday evening. Came with 9.5.1. I'd been reading about this issue a lot on these forums, so done everything that's been said to reproduce the issue. Enabled "show touches" in developer settings, had CPU-Z running for around 30mins, with NFC on and my bank card on the back of the phone. No ghost touch issues at all, just a greenish fast blinking light behind the display (just above and to the left of the "B" in battery on the CPU-Z screen) which I've read is the proximity sensor.

Happy I didn't appear to be effected my the issue, I updated the firmware to 9.5.4. Straight away I was experiencing ghost touches without even installing CPU-Z, I was getting them in the Play Store when trying to type using Gboard. I again enabled "show touches" and installed CPU-Z with NFC on and I could see a few touches along the the top of the screen, and when I put my bank card to the back of the phone it when absolutely nuts! Oddly, as you said, after the update the blinking proximity light disappeared. Got the update to 9.5.5 and the issue still persists.

I contacted Oneplus to see if it was possible to downgrade back to stock firmware, but was told it wasn't possible. I've requested a RMA which has been approved, but I'm holding on to the device for the moment to see if a fix is coming.

I noticed that green led too, I didn't update either and tested for the ghost touches in 9.5.1 and nothing. I updated because I wanted the camera not to suck, and then the green led was gone and ghost touches were there. When I hold an NFC card behind the device (my library card) it goes crazy. Have not noticed it in any other app, though I haven't tested that a lot, I have NFC turned off for now.

9.5.1 there was a green dot showing in the screen.
9.5.2+ no green dot but ghost touches.

Seems like they tried to fix the green dot, and produced ghost touches instead with the OxygenOS update.

Oneplus must do all it can to solve this issue asap since it will hit them hard since competition is not sleeping and they are already doing what they can to make it loud.
