Keep praying dude keep praying, those facts are the facts and OP don't admit to anything no matter how bad it is.
Your talking about assumption when you assume OP have changed their stripes and are coming clean.

Read up on company risk assessments on their products and how they knowingly send out faulty goods because a high enough proportion of people just SETTLE.:p

Why don't you provide me some links? You do realize that you can't use past as a proof? Tell me you understand atleast that much.

I think everyone should know that companies will look for software solutions and patches to avoid large returns - just like Apple patching faulty batteries by killing performance. There are many such situations. The company is looking for solutions because it wants to save. It is obvious that it is better to issue an update than to make thousands of costly returns / repairs like Samsung from Galaxy Note 7.

However, I do not rule out that Ghost Touch is just a software problem (I refer to the lack of it in version 9.5.1 (apparently)). Therefore, So please check anyone the sensitivity to touch by flashing the old version of the system with the Ghost Touch problem and testing the touch. I believe that there are advanced users here who can check it out. And I am asking for that, because I am thinking about buying an OP7Pro, but I would not like the later returns of the product.

So you're basically saying that their entire line of phones have issues? Why do you still purchase from them then, and worse still, continue to haunt these forums?

This sounds much more logical as compared to blindly quoting past articles lol. Would love to see the results too, as compared to blind speculation. :)

Is it just me having bad impression or most of the complaints about OP are coming from people who do not own OP7pro?

Guys please if you do not own this phone stop complaining without giving any proof.

You can ask about the proof of not a hardware issue from people like me.

Of course I do not have it however I am still so happy with OP latest device.

Last update sorted out ghost issue and I cannot see anything wrong with the phone.

Are you jealous as you cannot afford to buy that phone or what?

Can someone close this thread as this turned from reporting bug to some stupid conversations.

Anyone having different issues with this phone start a new thread .

Ofc they will look for a software get out, that falls inline with their product risk assessment and it's what OP did on the OPO.

This type of issue is not easily fixed and always comes back down the road as a mask is put in place compensate for power fluctuations. If I had one I would have sent it back without hesitation.

A selection of these guys whom have the first batches will always likely see something, while later devices will see a build revise with the possibile offending components swapped out and everyone will be non the wiser.
    OP have been here before.

I think you might be right. It's pretty amazing how entitled people feel all of a sudden. But back to the thread...

I am still running .1 with no ghost issues whatsoever. NFC on and have tested with payments and cards. Might be updating to .7 soon and will get back to you about screen sensitivity. I only saw a few people reporting that, it might indeed be placebo.

Hey guys! I guess it's been around 24 hours with the Oxygen OS 9.5.7 update. Can somebody please share an update regarding the phantom taps? Is the situation resolved or has anyone noticed the issue return? I'm waiting for my OP7P to arrive in a few days. Thanks!

Doubt they will waste more time, money and resources to adjust their manufacturing process for an issue which has effectively been resolved. Perhaps you should just move on from OnePlus since you seem to receive a ton of faulty devices from them lol.

Zero ghost touch issues with 9.5.7 with NFC on. Touch sensitivity still feels the same. Was on 9.5.5 previously and only encountered ghost touches in CPU-Z. I've NFC on 24/7, together with location. I use Bluetooth frequently while traveling too :) Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reassurance. I've already paid for my OP7P and it's on the way. I usually buy phones once in a while and use them till they can hold on and I certainly plan to use OP7P for years to come.

On a side-note: still rocking my OP2 and iPhone 6s. I certainly needed a refresh on the Android side; the 6s is good for another year with the iOS13 update coming for it in September.

We can reverse your post to a different point of view:
    * we can conclude that there is no same sensitivity to touch before and after the update, because there is no evidence for this;
    * we can say that this is also a hardware fault because OnePlus did not issue the final position with Ghost Touch.
Even in the OTA update there is nothing mentioned about the Ghost Touch solution - you can even suppose that they release updates and test for user-friendly reactions, so as to satisfy as much as possible.

You can put it to speculation, but I can also say that Ghost Touch is a software bug for speculation too, because there is no evidence. If the sensitivity / speed / accuracy on the touch will be the same and the NFC properties will be the same as in the beginning, we can talk about a software error and its solution.

And remember how OnePlus said that he listened to the users, that's why he mounts the Jack connector in the OP, and then completely changed his mind and said that no one needs it (although the number of people who wanted was + 90% on the official OP account on twitter). The same was with the notch (that they do not want), and later they mounted themselves in OP6, OP6T and OP7. Lots of hypocritical statements. Therefore, it is not worth believing in everything that OnePlus says, because after their past you can see that they prefer to protect their interests while openly lying that they listen to users (I refer to Jack and notch).

Ghost touches are gone but has anyone noticed that this update drastically reduced smoothness? try to scroll in chrome or in apps u will feel it's not as good as it was with 9.5.6 or lower. or try to switch between apps , u will see some jitter if u look closely

Bro, please pay attention to speed, accuracy, sensitivity to touch. I must be sure that this is a software error because I am trying to buy and I do not want to get worse equipment.
    Thanks!
