Yes, I have had the same experience since I got my OnePlus 7 Pro a month ago. No ghost touches, but always ghost swipes when scrolling in a browser or on Instagram. I am on 9.5.8 and haven't been able to access the 9.5.9 update yet to see if that fixes it.

So there are others with this issue too. I was worried I was a unique case and might have a hardware problem. Also just so you know I tried factory resetting my 7pro without installing apps or changing setting and it appeared to have been fixed........for a while. Slowly but surely as time passed the ghost swipes became more common and after a week was back to the way it was pre restore. The new update 9.5.10 hasn't fixed anything. This sucks.

So why you don't returned it yet? You should have a several days to return it and OnePlus refunds your money. And next you can buy next phone (without Ghost Touch).

I didn't notice it until the return period was over. It just started happening.

Hi, I am about to receive my OP7P on Wednesday. Is there any way to distinguish, whether or not, it's got the issue? Part number, production date etc? I want to know asap and, ideally, before setting up the phone.
And no, I don't want software update, where things are "better". I want device that's completely free of this problem. Cheers.

Well before you could just install the CPU Z app but I think the latest updates patched that. You could also enable developer options and turn on both "show tap/pointer locations" to see any random inputs. Otherwise just use the phone and pay attention to any weird page swipes or clicks you didn't make.

When I first got mine it took a month before I noticed I had it. Well past the return period. I do remember some seldom random swipes in the first week but attributed it to sweat or my screen protector. It gradually became worse and apparent in my case.

And this is exactly why I'm asking. Don't want to end up with faulty phone in a month time after purchase, long after the return period. I'd rather not buy it at all.

Already read over 40 pages of that thread and if I won't find answer I'm gonna cancel my order. This is second disappointment I've got with the OP. First was when I found someone here asking about alternatives to led notification light and always on display. He was told to....get a Samsung phone and his thread was closed. Really?
Is this that famous "community friendly" company I've heard about many times in the past?

After the update to 9.5.11 (GM21BA), the Ghost touches are gone on my OP7P.
But I didn't have them initially - they where introduced on my phone with Oxygen 9.5.9 and not fixed by 9.5.10.

I've had ghost touches since the day I got my 7 Pro and was on 9.5.9. Now its one 9.5.11 GM21AA and still experiencing them along the top of the device. Can go periods without any issues then when they start they are consistent. Turn screen screen off helps.
