WHAT? HTC has been teetering on the edge of Collapse (and bankruptcy) for the past three years! Huge Improvements? You call 70% Losses in a single QUARTER a "huge improvement"??? They've been on the verge of Bankruptcy for 13 straight fiscal quarters. And you think they're going to "take Samsung out"? You are certainly not the one I'd be seeking advice on One Plus's standing, situation or future.

Its really amazing to watch that the days have come when young guys like us are trying to earn something by making an effort rather than just spending money and show off...good to see it...

My thoughts exactly. It may be a good phone but if nobody knows about it or they can't get it then it can't compete with anyone.

I can't see it happening to be honest...

Don't get me wrong, it's a great phone, but the company has made too many screw-ups. Hence why I gave up hope (on the company, not the phone) and got a Nexus 5 instead.

Soon we won't have to worry about Samsung as it is planning on breaking up with Google's android platform. Samsung is already pushing out Tizen OS on their smart watch and the Samsung Z1 in India--Jan.2015. Not sure if TizenOS will be on their flagship devices....only time will tell....

I am talking this year. The HTC M8 has became a very popular phone and has made huge profit for the company. Perhaps has years HTC was not as successful with their market. But Samsumg is going down in sales and HTC has been rising. You should do research.

"HTC is rising" ... you say "do your research" yet don't even know about HTCs battle against bankruptcy? Wrong again. "Do my research"? It takes very little research to find out why everybody's dumped HTC stock after another dreadful year, in which they sunk nearly four percent (again). And you are wrong again.

Prepare for the loose of your bet... No chance to kill the biggest brands in near future... I dont say its impossible in a long way (see Nokia), but surely wouldnt happen in 2015 :)

Just the sheer numbers dictate that it would be virtually impossible for that to happen in 2015 alone. It is possible that we could give it one hell of a start in that direction however.
