Could you share a picture of the ear fins on your BW2? (point no.2 in bad)

Also, thanks man :) Took a while to write!

for those with the bullets 2, how has your experience been with call quality?

I use earphones a lot for calls, especially with IP calls, and would like to know if the Bullets 2 are good with that? particularly with a bit of ambient noise around.

I cycle around a lot and have taken a few calls while riding my bike, call quality has definitely improved on the BW2. They feature a degree of noise cancellation this time around and have better mic placement too, so much better than it was on the BW1.

cool so you feel the call quality is good? have you tried calls using an app (IP) like Skype, whatsapp, FB, zoom etc?

I've had several WhatsApp and Messenger calls through the BW2, my opinion stands. Haven't noticed any problems with calls until now.

I currently use Airpods for calls, but want something with better sound quality.

a bunch of other headsets I've tried are good with normal cellular calls but completely fall apart with IP calls. for some reason any noise cancelling ability they have with cellular is gone on IP calls.

here's to hoping the bullets 2 and it's Qualcomm CVC tech is actually the goods

Sorry in advance if this is found to be off topic. Through many of the posts here, I decided to get the Bullets wireless V2. very happy with them so far. In fact, the noise isolation is so good, I am contemplating using them when flying, which leads me to my next question.

I know USB-C and audio has been quite fragmented, with some makers using active, and other using passive usb-c to 3.5mm adapters. I also am not well versed in how all of this works, but:

I do know of some earphones out there which come bundled with a MALE 3.5mm to MALE USB-C cable, not sure if these have the chip/DAC inside or not. These are designed to be used with their headsets to offer a WIRED usage option in instances where BT is not available, such as when listening to the in flight entertainment on a plane.

For reference, here is a link to 1More's dual driver ANC neckband headphones which support this type of wired usage (battery power from the headset is needed). https://usa.1more.com/products/1more-dual-driver-bt-anc-in-ear-headphones

Would be great to find a solution like this to work with the Oneplus Bullets Wireless V2 to maximise its utility

Very nice verdict, this has gotten me very exited to buy the bullets wireless 2, it just got out of stock and without proper jack to usb c converter I'm stuck for some time without any earphones to use for my 7 pro, and since its the first phone I got without the jack, the struggle is real.
