    anyone can recommend me any rom or kernel to get the best performance in term of speed for op5? i wan to get my op5 to squeeze all speed out since my device is getting slower day by day, while i am holding back and waiting for the 6t.

    I love OxygenOS, I don't change that rom since it suits my needs for my Oneplus 5T.
    My changes are purely aesthetics.

    I've put on a Dbrand Red dragon skin for the outside.
    I have the Desaturate icon pack and I use my own wallpaper that I spend on time making it.
    I'll share it with you guys.

    And that's it, love this wallpaper and it's AMOLED friendly so a win win situation

    I am on the stable version of the oxygen OS. Almost all of my changes are functional.
    I have changed a couple of launcher apps but have settled down with Microsoft Launcher. The launcher is very easy to customize and let's me group similar apps to easily access them.
    I make sure I place shortcuts to apps closest to my thumb , according to how often I use them. I rely on the Outlook calendar. It's a lot better suited for my planning and organization than the Google calendar.

    The Microsoft Launcher also has easy customizability, including easy change of theme from dark to transparent. I usually have a dark wallpaper or use the daily Bing image of the day wallpaper.
    These days I have a bright pink image of my newborn baby girl. It'll stay for a few months on there.

    The app drawer has a top line for easy access to the last five apps I've used, that makes it easy to get to them.

    I used to customize it with substratum, but I can't do that on rootless phone since Pie. It sucks.

    So root... I couldn't stand a lot of the "white" apps if it wasn't for substratum. Easier on the eyes and battery.

    guys need your precious advice on I tried using scheduled switch off and switch on for the phone. the switch off function did perform but the switch on never happened, instead I had to switch on my one plus 5 on manually. is there anything else I have to do other than going onto utilities-scheduled power in/off?
