    Good thread @Batman360,

In my view these days ecosystem is becoming more popular as technology advances everyday but one thing that acts as a barrier for me is user privacy, The more you joining members in the ecosystem the more user privacy is getting meaning less.

There are lots of incidents where the so called ecosystem failed in maintaining user privacy either it is tech gaints like Google, Apple or Amazon or small iot providers, every smart devices that we are using can be a bait for users privacy. It is good to have smart devices but only upto certain extent.

Ecosystem, IOT is all good only when there is proper controlling body . With 5G, the IOT is going to boom. It's all good only when it's not too intrusive in our daily life. Needs to be controlled so that our personal life and privacy is unaffected.

Great content @Batman360 . And an interesting question. I know there are lots of benefits of having a system of devices that works well together. In some cases, it can make life easier as you described. I do however wonder about privacy... Personal data and data mining is one of the largest businesses now... Asking Alexa to look up info gives alot of info to these companies and targeting marketing etc and increasing people's internet footprint. Sometimes it can be used for good many other times it may not.

Maybe I'm old school... Had tv with broken remote, we had to get up and turn the dial. 😂 I may want a mixture of smart vs regular home... The smart part is being able to control temp even when away from home so save electricity when not home and the house can be warm when you get home. I also think that once you start with one thing, more options and possibilities are seen and desired.

@Batman360 great article [e]1f44d[/e]it's jargon free, simple and easy to comprehend .

Well I feel, the future definitely will see increased adoption of connected devices and smart home technology . Digital natives are already seeing great benefits in energy cost reduction and an overall increase in efficiency .

    Talking about 1+ watch...

While riding a bike, when v got a notification or call we have to take the phone to watch . Its difficult.
So when we have smart watch it can easily seen without taking the phone..nowdays so many smartwatch and smart bands are available from other brands with budget friendly costs..
As a 1+ user when they introduce smartwatch with buget friendly cost I only go for it. Ecosystem will useful while using products from the same brand....

so its time to introduce it...Come on Oneplus✌️✌️
