Let's try to understand bugs in ota 4.0.2

    as a matter of fact i did use the canada vpn but did not face any issues after the 7.0 update... not even a single problem. I DID NOT EVEN HAD TO CLEAN WIPE THE FONE

    People, bugs are universal among a set of devices running the same software. a corrupted install is a stupid argument that cant be termed bug but a crash and crc will fail install. grow up!

    When someone reports bug and another claims it isn't then one of them dont understand the problem! Either you didn't listen to the bug reporter or the reporter misread the feature/limitation as a bug.

    Baseline is to understand the people with trouble to help them and stop harassing/teasing/bullying. Communities are to help not to abuse!

    Hard reset, wipe data and cache in recovery, installation by adb ... can be considered a complement to the update process and has helped eliminate many bugs.
    In this way, the one plus team does not try to solve bugs that are possibly not bugs.
    Obviously hard reset,... does not solve all the bugs but it has helped a lot.
    What is not solved in this way counts on the help of those who had the same problem and solve it and with the help of the most knowledgeable.

    So we need and appreciate your help.

    is this on your home connection or on everything?
    if your home & your hub is AC (2.4ghz & 5 ghz) there maybe an issue with the chipset especially if using the Atheron one. sometimes if you create a separate SSID for the 5 ghz & maybe use a different channel to the 2.4 then it can fix this issue.

    Since this day the widget has not disappeared! I did nothing, just rebooted the smartphone after changing the dpi to the standard size

    those with bugs should hard reset their phones. I had some bugs and did that and it worked like a charm my battery last a looooooong time now before it was dying before the end of the day. make sure you back everything up first though.

    initially even i had many problems with the new update from oneplus, later i formatted my phone and most of the problems are solved.
    try using the same technique, it even worked with my WiFi dropping issue.
