Do QuadHD or whatever do much a difference in 5.5" screen in the real world of common men who got only two normal eyes ??
    I dont understand you guys...

I hoped for the 805 too. But today I found an articel on a German website. They say that LTE isn´t integrated in the Snapdragon 805. It needs a seperate CAT6 Gobi 9X35-Modem, so the Manufacturer have to fit this Modem subsequently. That means more costs and more space to place it into the phone-->bigger phone. So the Manufacturer ignor the 805 and wait for the 808/810 or just pick the 801, because there is the LTE-Modul integrated.

That´s the main thing from this articel :p

You have a point there, if its right.

Also gutted about the 801 powering the G3. The size to screen ratio is great though and its still on my list. Its level with the OPO for me now but will I ever get my hands on the OPO? :(

Interesting. And understandable (adding a seperate modem means not just the cost of the piece itself but added complexity and design costs...). But disappointing all the same.

If that's the case, I understand why they don't go with SD805. But that should have ment that is not the time to make the resolution bump to QHD yet, IMO. A big resolution leap should only happen at the same time as a big graphics performance leap, to make the impact of the higher resolution transparent. I don't think a 28% overclock of the GPU (SD800->SD801) is going to do the trick.

I don't know, but I mostly expect LG G3 underperforming the LG G2 in 3D (and other graphical intensive work) performance right now... not to mention all the other current flagships launched with the same chipset and 1080p... I could be wrong though. Let's see how it all turns out.

this board, i tell ya.. but youre right, you dont know.. yet. we will find out. LPDDR3 memory is more of a concern for me than the GPU..

does anyone have a Find 7? this would be the only real marker.. the diff b.w the 7/7a isnt that bad from what weve seen (Android Authority i think being the only blog to cover the comparison)

Go stick with your iPhone 4 and the retina display where the myth that merely seeing the pixels is the pinnacle of screen fidelity. youre ill informed, i feel bad for you that you cant tell the difference between a galaxy s4/5 screen and an iphone 4 screen, but theres no need to denigrate the rest of us who can, by being condescending. your whole perspective is wrong...

Looks nice, maybe they could make it so only the circle part of the screen could come on, save the battery power yo ;)

The way I understood the article is that there is already built in qi charging in the phone and the case will still allow that feature to work.
