Absolutely loved the LG G4, and the LG V20.
After LGV20, I shifted to OnePlus. Before that, IMO, OnePlus was not anywhere near in terms of features and quality. Still miss the IR blaster, and extendable battery from LG days, both still a sore point for me in OnePlus.
This lesson applies to all phone makers - the story of both HTC, and LG.
Typically, one looks at and emulates competitors above you. HTC and LG failed because they did not watch, learn from, and better competitors that were once below them.

The end result of chasing Samsung for almost a decade and the SD810/808 heavily tarnishing their reputation.
RIP to an innovator and not a gimmick whore, they really shoukd have heeded a very old saying,

If you can't beat them( Samsung) join them( the mortals) No.2 in the android space is still very lucrative.

Agreed Sir!! They pioneerd with HTC. Those lGs where fine. And yes The DAC speaker's Rocked the party. My screen vibrated!!! And they kept the speaker Jack. Sad to see them go. Only the strong survive. Sign of the times!!! Agree they should have merged with one of the Big Boys!!! ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
