    LineageOS 17.1 | OnePlus 2

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS GitHub repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

WARNING!!! Rooting, installing Custom ROMs and Custom Recoveries carries the potential to brick your device if done incorrectly. If you intend to perform any of these, you do so at your own risk. Please be careful when flashing firmware, always have adequate battery charge before starting, follow instructions, and never unplug or turn off your device while flashing. If you have never done anything of the sort, please read through and understand all instruction before doing anything.

Is lineageOS smooth enough for daily use?

Yes, I used lineage OS 15.1 previously with Android oreo. Now I upgraded to lineage OS 16 with android pie. No lagging issue. Pubg and other games working much better. Good performance. Just waiting for the Volte patch to be released for Android Pie in lineage OS 16

    HI,
Good suggestion and LOS 17.1 is smooth but cant make VOLTE calls on it. What are your recommendations for setting up VOLTE on LOS 17.1 on Oneplus 2. Have you resolved this on your device?

    I have tried
    1. Flashing LOS + GAPPS + OOS Firmware 3.6.1
    2. LOS vpn setting change etc
    3. Using Jio calls app for calling

but all this for no betterment. Fact is VOLTE switch is not available on LOS 17.1 and it is clearly mentioned on LOS device decription (no support for IMS i.e VOLTE/VOwifi). What should be done to get VOLTE?
