Hi, I would like to share this estrange bug. I have already reported it to Oneplus. I would like to know if the same happens with your phone.

    The steps are:
1-> In ambient display, use a non registered fingerprint.
2-> Before you get an unlock error, push the power button.
3-> You should see what you where doing before locking the screen

    I add a video.

    Thanks

If you're able to unlock your phone with an unregistered finger, then you might have smart unlocked enabled and you need to go in settings and turn it off.
On body detection is on or you have something in trusted places trusted devices.

Check the video, it is not unlocked. You can see the date and time while showing the app activity

@keithnyc can you please escalate this bug resolution ? This should be present in all OnePlus 6T/ 7/ 7Pro / 7T/ 7TPro/ 7TPro McL edition.

Steps are simple as he mentioned:

An Unregistered Fingerprint on Ambient display ( doesn't matter lift up or tap to wake ), along with power button pressed before the wrong fingerprint error appears, any app which was kept open ( not in recent task - just like you're using it and locked the device) => results in a second of glance view on the app.

I am trying to reproduce this and I cannot. I tap the screen to get the ambient display up, I place a non-registered finger on the sensor, I then wait about a second and click the power button right before the message comes up.
