I am facing the issue in my 7T pro that the lockscreen wallpaper is so ugly and as i reduce the brightness it becomes more uglier and the evidence can't be captured by a screenshot as i unlock the device the homescreen wallpaper is same as original. on lockscreen the colour changes to dark and very ugly as i reduce brightness to zero. so horrible.on lockscreen if i swipe down the notification panel so the tint or darkness is gone but as notification panel goes up again the dark tint wallpaper shows but it doesnt show when fingerprint scanner is disabled. let me know if you guys are facing issue on lock screen.

This is not a bug/problem this is due to the optical fingerprint sensor lockscreen calibration is unstable. It is due to Optical fingerprint which is present in Fluid AMOLED displays on OnePlus devices like OP7T, OP7Pro, OP7TPro. This is not in OP7 because it has the Optic AMOLED Display.
Yes when you turn your fingerprint sensor off it won't appear.
Also it will be visible at low brightness if you increase the brightness it won't be visible.

yes I am also disgusted because oneplus did not have all these problems before: I had almost all the OnePlus and they were really good. It's been 3 months since we had an update and my security patch dates from September! it's desperate for such a recent phone

yes same here. aside from this. my 7t pro has a lot of problems like proximity sensor not working properly while on call, heating issues on upper side of screen just by downloading some stuff and playing pubg at basic settings and sometimes sluggish scrolling. my phone gets slightly hot even after restarting the phone. and while playing Pubg it reaches to 60°C and more. kindly tell me if u are facing these issues so that i can assure is my device ok or not. thanks.

Why to even go lowest brightness.. ?

    Seriously, even if...

It's just a blink of a second that goes unnoticed...

Important is that everything after unlocking is visually appealing...;)

It's not a bug. If you spent 10 minutes of Google searching you wouldn't have to create useless thread (it's been discussed many times already).
If you use fingerprint sensor, the screen is in a special secure mode to make the scanning more reliable and safe. Probably it changes screen mode to the basic low-color (I don't know how it's called professionally), and disables any screen overlays including system overlays. The fingerprint sensor screen is a "system in a system".
I don't really remember the details, but it's easy to check out, regards

Yes but we wanted to know if OnePlus can do this only on the fingerprint sensor zone
I'm not sure about that but it's just a question...

I'm not sure about it, I'm not a specialist. I think it mostly depends on security requirements and fingerprint software developers rather than on OnePlus laziness.
Similar example - when you have any screen overlay detected you can't install any apps unless you disable this overlay entirely, even if this overlay only displays temperature on statusbar and your install button is on the bottom of the screen, that's how Android security works here.
Again - it's just what I think and what I've concluded, I'm not a specialist. It's better to ask OnePlus engineers ;)
