Same issue for me. Downloaded the update via Google Play Store, and the LOCKBOX won't open when you tap it.

I've got the same issue after update....
Tried uninstalling update but says files in Lockbox have to be restored... So it wouldn't uninstall update...

I opened my lockbox earlier today without issue, but all of a sudden, it will not respond at all any more. No fingerprint or pin request. Nothing. It updated via the Play Store on April 22nd. I can't even uninstall it or roll it back. Suggestions?

Everyone should post a review on play store for the File Manager app. They responded to my review regarding this issue. But they're assuming that the Lockbox is opening and just not registering fingerprints/pin. They're not understanding that the feature itself won't even open.

I woke up this morning and tried to access my Lockbox and it is not responding. I did not update manually. However to try to fix the issue I did try clearing the file manager cache and a restart. I also installed a new file manager apk. It did not fix the issue.

I just fixed my issue. Remove your PIN/fingerprint security from your phone. Then try to access your Lockbox files.

That worked... Put pattern back on and it won't open.... weird... Thanks a Million!!! At least my stuff is still there just need to find a way to Lock The Lockbox...

Just tried it myself too. It works but once you put any kind of protection feature, you can't access Lockbox when you tap it again. The developer note I got this morning on the Google Play Store didn't seem to understand that we can't access the file simply by tapping on the option......

Yeah... I've tried using different security features and Lockbox won't open with any security unlock on phone...

I removed my phone unlock security and moved pictures out of lockbox and uninstalled the update... It's working right again, pictures are back in Lockbox with phone security on and pin for lockbox..


Updated again and it's broke again... lol...

Please read the earlier replies to this thread. There is a temporary workaround that might work for you.

Yeah...I did it again... would rather it work than not... What's the since in having a lockbox that's unlocked... lol
