Long Time taking for charging

I have been experiencing very slow charging of my One Plus 2 since last quarter particularly after VoLTE update. While charging usually I keep Data in switch off mode but than also it usually takes around 4-5 hours for full charge.

4 hours is long. What OOS version are you on?
I sometimes face this issue too (2.5-3 hrs for 0-100). I realised the surface I put my phone on also affects this (no joke). On wooden surface, phone heats up while charging and takes long to charge. (I have myself experienced this, and have observed difference in charge time when not kept on wooden surface).

Bro 8 hours is tooo long time, the problem is not of os but problem is must b in your charger soket or may be in your data cable so is you have any othet frnd who using op2 then try to charge with his charger and importent note cheq your charger soket is ok or not for that put your phon in chargeing and dial *#808# and go to charging option and if it shows a PASS in green text then cjarger is ok otherwise you have a problem in charger or may cable

It shows PASS but certainly taking more time than usual. It's happening after flashing TWRP.
Weird things are happening with OOS, I have doubt on the capabilities of OP developers.

    OPT 3.5.8..
This build also sucks as always, with lots of bugs. I have seen threads complaining about slow charging issues, but today I am facing the same. Don't know if it's gonna fix on its own.

I can feel the pain bro. Struggling over a month. Tried full drain cycle several times but not much success. Also, did hard reset as adviced by OnePlus_Support. Still No success. I am managing these days by charging it using Turbo Charger of moto and using it at battery saver mode throughout with single SIM so as to struggle and meet the day end (~10hrs) of backup.

Its really a pain. My will to part ways from OnePlus is becoming stronger with every passing day. Lets hope if OnePlus can come to rescue to Abandoned Child like us soon.

When i turn phone off and charge it takes 1-3 hours (like normal) but then drains fast. It went from 100% to 90% in 15 minutes. Seams to be related to usage of internet. Dont really know what to do though...

it's a stupid suggestion after you have done hard reset but try wiping cache from recovery.
    to clear cache:
    1. turn off your phone.
    2. press and hold volume down and power button until the phone vibrates.you will then enter recovery menu.
    3. select english.
    4. select wipe cache/data.
    5. select wipe cache.
    6. if prompt comes ..select yes.
    7. then reboot.
    8. done.

also try greenify..it stops the apps working in background.

Thanks for concern brother. But the mentioned suggestion by you has already been implemented. All these options were explored keeping Hard reset for the last.

    Nothing seems to work here.
