Does anyone own, had, or knows someone with a mini laptop with decent specs? If so, was it worth the money and was the battery life good?
I'm looking for a mini laptop with:
1 GB or more of ram
Single or dual core 2.0ghz processor x64 architure only. I know a dual core will drain battery life more, so single core makes the battery last longer.
I don't care about screen size, but it most likely will be small.
Has to have a WiFi card or a USB port.
I want a battery that will last at least 6 hours.
    I don't care what OS.
I want a hard drive with at least 200 GB, no sdram with 32 GB. I need space.
Also, if it's around $400 that'd be nice.

Could anyone help me? I'd greatly appreciate it!

Does the surface pro have decent battery life, and is it x64? I can deal with a 128gb HDD.

I would say get a nexus 7 which is on sale for the next few days and a bluetooth keyboard you can connect to it. It would pretty pretty decent specs and options you'd need for the most part. I've had my fair share of mini laptops and as much as i liked having a keyboard connected to a screen, it just didn't compare to a nexus7/keyboard setup. On top of that , I think most mini laptop use windows CE or something... at least they did when I had one. or 6 actually... lol. Either or, its up to you.

The nexus 7 2013 32 gig is for sale for 159.99 on ebay right now, if so inclined.

    Anyhow, good luck!

I really appreciate your help, but I want a hdd because I'll do lots of writing to the disk, and as far as I know, SD cards and SD ram are flash memory, and I will probably degrade it faster than I would a normal hard drive.
