Losing signal

I never had a phone who is losing cell signal. Didn't even think that it's possible.
But now, with OnePlus5, the signal is constantly lost (I receive a message in the notification area to reconnect to the network), while I'm talking (and drop the call), while I'm walking...
    Than the network automatically reconnect.
    Otherwise is great.
It's 2017, how is even possible to lose signal? This is basic stuff. [e]1f61e[/e]

Make sure you're not blocking the antenna lines

I too had a problem of network drops, talked to network providers they said there's no problem from their side and that is when I called OnePlus executive. He asked me to follow these steps -
    1. go to settings.
    2. backup and reset
    3. network settings reset.
    4. Press the reset settings button. (separately for both of the sim cards).
    5. Finally power off the device, eject the sim cards, put them back in and yes i didn't get the network drops again.

    Hi,
I am also facing the exact same issue with OP5!! The signals just vanishes!!
and most of the time people keep complaining that my phone is switched off!! even when I see signals on my phone!!

This is not the issue with service provider!! I used the same sim in iphone and it works perfectly. I even changed to new sim but the problem still persists.

This is the issue with OP5.
Anyone has some solution?? Anyone facing the same issue??

    OP team please reply.

Which network carrier you are having? If issue is still persisting even after device reset. Try replacing sim card, probably sim card might be having some issues.

Get sim card replaced by service provider.

I too have been having these issues, I see the network bars, but call wouldn't connect or the call drop...

had it on Oreo , even on Pie based OOS.
I'll go for sim change and will confirm now..

I'm having the same issue on my OP6. intermittent connectivity issues. definitely the phone. I've tried 3 different SIMs in it with the same problem, while those same SIMs work fine in other phones. I've done a factory reset and replaced my sim. Still no improvement....

has anyone figured out how to sort this out?

Saids you. Network connection is by your provider and not OnePlus.
