Somehow I have deleted my app drawer icon and it's messed up my home screen, how do I get it back?

It's horrible. How can I get the app drawer button back?
I hope OnePlus give us an option to have which ever on we want.
This swipe up has put me right off this phone. If I wanted a pixel, I'd have bought a pixel.

You can search in your apps under the settings menu and look for OnePlus Launcher. Then you have to uninstall the latest launcher updates. Maybe then you're getting back the Appdrawer icon. As an alternative you can use the Nova launcher or get used to the new swipe up gesture. Life goes on and software is getting better, that's how it goes.

It happened due to the latest 4.5.0 oxygen OS update. And the worst part is that ugly fat translucent bar at bottom and no option to make it transparent.

For now you can't get it back. With negative feedbacks perhaps they give an option to choose either this or the old one later.

There is no option to uninstall updates for Oneplus Launcher. It has only disable and force stop. Never liked 3rd party launchers but it seems like would have to try now.

actually this worked for me, after trying Nova, which I didn't like, I uninstalled the updates on one plus launcher (find the app in settings, click the hamburger in the top left) and bows I'm back to the original version.

I turned off auto updates for it too. when I hear they have decent customisation options I'll try it out again.

You press on the three dots in the upper left hand corner after selecting the app and yes, it will bring back the drawer and the look of the original icons. But all your apps will need to be reset/reorganized into your home screen. If you're willing to do this, go for it. You can also disable future auto app updates by opening Google Play:
    1. Tap the hamburger icon (three horizontal lines) on the top-left.
    2. Tap Settings.
    3. Tap Auto-update apps.
    4. To disable automatic app updates, select Do not auto-update apps.

I ended up doing just that.

    Liking it more than expected!

For some reason I was thinking the gestures while the screen is off would stop working if I switched launchers from the OnePlus launcher, so I'm glad to see that's not the case.

Can't stand fat gray bottom bar, and no more app drawer button! Who (anybody?) gives them feedback before they put out a new update? Will try different launcher, but what a pain!
