Well here is my story. I have been using iphones since iphone 3g. When the 6 was announced i thought, i will shift to android from 5s. The only phone i considered was OPO, i got the invite and bought one from amazon India in jan 2015. It was good device, apart from touch id and camera, i was really happy with overall experience. Well it didnt lasted long, i too faced the touch screen problems, It started in march(i am not sure exactly when) . I suffered with the phone for two months. Really i regreted the buying the phone everyday and the-laughs-i-got-for-buying-OPO-from-my-friends. Well i didnt knew what to do apart from following this forum.

Result was i bought a iphone 6 plus. Been using it for few months. Well it is expensive and can not be customised as much as cynogen mod on opo but it works all the time. The best thing about apple is after sales, i am sure that no brand even comes close. I have replaced at least 5 i devices and everytime i get a brand new replacement even for minor problem which won't be considered by opo service centers.

My iphone 5 was relpaced one because of camera problem(1-2 lines appears on the screen), which happened exteremely rarely, like twice in 4 months time. my warranty was going to be over and i insisted on replacement and apple did give me a brand new device. My ipad was replaced for very very minor ghosting on the screen, i am sure other brand will not be even acknowledge the problem in India. Heck apple replaced my 7 years old non working ipad nano which was gathering dust in my closet and gave me a brand new one.

I am sure people have different priorities but for me service is one of the main criteria. Camera was another reason which kinda pushed me to buy iphone again. opo has the 13mp camera but it worked great only if the conditions were good according to the camera. before anyone ask yes i did change the camera app. iphone camera is ages ahead.

The first touch screen fix started the battery drain and thats when i got the iphone. I did have the opo with me and updated it with oxygen os when the touch screen fix came out. But the touchscreen never felt the same. It didnt felt as good as when the phone was new.

Sorry for long post, it was something i was thinking for long time. You may not agree with me on few point or completely but that does not matter.

All the best on op2, but it will take a while before i will think about buying a opo or suggest someone the same.

Well in the hand it feels like a metal bar. Those antennas look ugly.
I really dont get this trend of phones being slim if it affects the battery. I hate iPhone 6's battery life.
iPhone 6 plus has great battery life. But come on the 5.5" iPhone is as huge as the 6" nexus 6. Its gigantic and a pain to use.
iOS is good but lacks the control android gives users. With launchers and icon packs I can make my phone feel new.
So no I dont think i will be switching to the iPhone anytime soon. Love the OPO for its industry leading battery life and the control it gives us over the phone.

I have iphone 4s at the moment, i have it for ages just because as long as phone does the job its fine for me, but now looking for OPO2 cause I'm done with apple. Just because my carrier required a new IOS on my phone, i needed 7.1.1 i didn't new that so i have installed 8.0.1 and it became so f***in slow that can't handle it. I was like ok I'm not IT specialist ill just contact apple support to ask how can i downgrade, and they told me that because of the new policy you can't downgrade. I was like WTF????? i said I'm installing your software into your product nothing really changes, the phone is mine I've paid money for it so i can do what i want with it as long as your products into your device, i understood if i said to them how can i instal CM or any other they can say no, right?? So "amazing" apple support said no... I that was the end for apple for me. No essential freedom on a device....
Another thing, they are making new products new IOS camera and etc.. but they forgot about battery, so my friend has iPhone6 and he still needs a second charger at the end of they day.
Also, they made this stupid option 16 gb or 64gb, so nowadays obviously you need 64gb because apps use more gb's, u can have 16gb if it has memory slot then its cool. apple has it? NO
So at the end of the day you will pay 620 pounds (i live in UK) for 64gb phone which has weak battery or bad chipset which drains it a and have no freedom over your device. Thanks NO!

I love my Apple desktop. Their incremental "improvements" for the i-phone kept me postponing
from buying one. Now that I have purchased the One+ their phone is a distant thought.
Apple=Greed!! Terrible working conditions in China; You know it's bad when the factory installed
suicide nets on the upper floors of their factories making Apple products! Case Closed.

    + Points
    1. Aesthetically pleasing. Good build quality.
    2. Simple and intutive UI experience and fast responsiveness.
    3. Very good camera.
    4. Blends well into the Apple ecosystem of Macs, Ipad, watch.
    5. Build to last.
    6. Very good display.
    7. The apps in Apple like Twitter, Facebook etc provide a better UI enriching feel than Android ones.

    -ve Points
    1. Very expensive
    2. Each app takes lot of memory which means you have to buy bigger memory versions means more cost of ownership.
    3. Worst battery life ever. Its a deal breaker.
    4. Less customizations.
    5. Dont know if its a problem only with me but the wifi connectivity is problematic. At low wifi strength, it fails to connect while android phones can connect to lower signal strength.

It's nice I guess, everything is well optimised and everything, but the overall locked down nature of the ecosystem just isn't for me, but I can understand the appeal of it.

Apple is SHIT. Everything about them is shit, and bull shit. Please watch this video and that is only the beginning. They make shitty products and put a high price on it. Because of its high price, my guess is, that's why everyone buys it. I guess the saying "you get what you pay for" isn't true after all.

If I had to give you one reason as of why Android is better than iOS, it would be variety.
For example, iOS, the "new" iPhone 6 came out. I go buy it, but I don't like it. If I want to stick with iOS, I have two options. A, deal with the new one, or B, return it/give it to someone/or something else and use the iPhone 5.

With Android, its much different. Ever company puts their own special feature in, and everyone has their own price. The S6 just came out, I buy it but I don't like it, I can return it and buy the new HTC M9, or LG G4 or OnePlus 2 (or 1), or the Sony....... Every company puts their own touch in to change the experience, and if you don't like one, there is a different. As well as phone specs, every year apple comes out with a couple of iphones, but what if I don't like the screen size, or I need a cheap backup phone because I travel a lot, or ..... I can buy the a Sony phone as my primary, and have another Sony, as a backup, or a Samsung, or a LG, or a OnePlus, or a Motorola, or a........

And that is only for cell phones, I did even start with laptops, iPods, computers.....

    Point here, apple is shit!

    **NOTE** I don't spell check.
And in case anyone is wondering, I do have a OnePlus, and I got it a little over a month ago, so far no problems, maybe suggestions, but no problems. Any "issue" I have come across so far, was my fault. And yes, I have owned many, many phones.

I like the designs. The round edges are really nice. The iPhone 6+ is too big, even though it has the same size as oneplus one. It's wider I think. Their OS is actually pretty fine I think. I have never owned an iPhone, but it looks nice. I just know that there can be some times, where you would like to be more able to do thing. Lack of license i guess you can call it. Lack of moveability in the OS. Lack of possibilities.
