I'm 100% okay with the 7 Pro! You can get a 12GB/256GB model for 750$ in the United States with all these features! It's an insane deal!!!!!

750$ is less than £600 here in the UK but it would cost £800 to buy, seems a bit of a rip off. Makes you think if the specs are the same worldwide get a friend in the us to buy it and ship it over

I even don't understand this prices in the EU because they are way much higher than in the US. I will buy the OP7 Pro later in September when i am in the US. Unless they have the same specs for connectivity as in the EU

    Who told you that?
There was price a parity from the OPO the OP3.
    The OP3T ' price in the UK £399 converted $500+ creating a $70 disparity.
Today it is $140 on the base model, $280 on the top model and you say tax.:tearsofjoy:

The disparity between the US and Europe came on the OPO. They blamed it in the exchange rate and it has existed every since, regardless of fluctuations.

you could always buy Huawei, USA can't !!
but then your spending A LOT more $$ for a little improvement. USA price is low because OnePlus is still trying to get their phones mainstream.

Well, they made the decision to position their phone between higher end models as they are also named in the ranking of high end phone brands now.

Although I agree the phones are now at a price point where I wait with upgrading and use my current phone longer.

Oh right so you dont know, you dont have any proof that the HRMC has created a disparity of over $200 due to import tax.
Let me tell you what OP explained, they explained the first $25 on the OP3, they have never said anything about the other $200.
Facts and not lies kid, your not in the Wormhole handing out hugs and kisses now.
Another personal slur that I will report, i wonder if the Mods will close this thread too:rolleyes:

I just bought a pixel 3 128gb for US $449. when sales kick in for either Google or samsung the op7 pro is not a good deal but when you compare the normal prices the OP7 pro is a good deal.

If I needed to buy a phone and the pixel wasn't on sale I'd pay a little more for the s10e.

I think the op7 pro is a worthy option but I have always hated Samsung curved edges. there are other things I don't like but the curved glass is a non-starter and has been for the past 4 years.

    oneplus will never become mainstream.

even if oneplus created a miracle and somehow inked agreements with at&t, Verizon, and their newish relationship with t-mobile, it still wouldn't make a dent into apple or samsung because of the sheer amount of money apple and Samsung spend on advertising online, on TV, anywhere.

oneplus even with the support of BBK cannot afford to get into an advertising war with those 2 mentioned. and that's the simple reason why when you go into those 3 American carriers mentioned all you see is apple and Samsung. the avg American only cares about those 2 because that's all they know and see. unless your throwing money at the carriers as well, they will put your phone on display but they won't give it their all to help sell it especially if you can't crank the kind of numbers that Samsung and apple can.

Google, htc, Motorola, and Sony failed or are failing because they went the "carrier exclusive" route when that was "no longer in style"

you need an apple/Samsung budget for marketing along with those 2 ability to crank out millions of devices and make deals with all carriers to have a chance in the US
